Katniss's POV

When we come home from the beach we decided that we are going to watch a movie. Finnick has an outdoor theater like thing. I go upstairs to get a shower. Then i change. i put on a plain white tee shirt and joggers and throw my hair in a big messy bun. (picture above). Then i walk downstairs to find everyone waiting for me. We grab blankets and pillows and set them up on the big couches outside. We make snacks and get drinks and we all head outside. When we sit down i hear Annie and Finnick whispering about something. I wonder what it is. Oh well. I sit next to Clove and Peeta. Yes i'm sitting next to Peeta. Also btw Clove and I are cousins. We got home from the beach pretty late, around 11:30, so now like ten minutes into the movie everyone is sleeping ,except for Peeta and I. It has gotten really cold and i start to shiver. Peeta seems to notice that. "Here take my jacket." ,he says. "thank you." . "So, i haven't really got to talk to you yet. Tell me about yourself." , Peeta says. "Well what do you want to know?" i ask. "What about your family?" he asks. Oh no. i start getting choked up. "oh i'm sorry. i didn't mean to upset you i'm sorry." i calm down, " No Peeta it's not your fault. It's just that- that my father died in a car crash when i was young." he looks very regretful, "oh katniss i'm sorry i shouldn't have i asked." ,"no it's okay, really. i still have my mom, step dad and my little sister Primrose. She's basically my life and i have no idea what i would do without her. so tell me about you." , "Okay" , he states, " I have two older brothers, Ryan and Josh, and my family owns a bakery." We continue talking about life and i am enjoying it so much. I feel like i have known him forever and i think  i already love him. I stare into his crystal blue eyes and he stares back into mine. We look at each other for a while until i just can't take it anymore. I lean in and crash my lips onto his. i feel fireworks going off inside my body. I notice that not only is he not pushing me off of him, but that he is kissing me back. I realize what i have done and quickly pull myself off of him. " Oh my god. I'm so sorry Peeta i just got caught up in the moment and-" He cuts me off by kissing me again. "You don't need to apologize" then he smiles. "Katniss everdeen. Would you like to be my girlfriend?" OMG YES HE LIKES ME IM SO HAPPY! "yes! i would love too!" soon i find myself sleeping, curled up with Peeta.
