A Birthday Wish

Harpers ebony eyes slowly fluttered open. Excitement explicitly in her expression. Without a second more, Harper swung her long legs over her plain red bed, leaped up to her feet and swung open her dark oak wood door.

Harper met the rather surprised look of Otto and Otto's hand slowly retracted from the silver door knob.

Otto chuckled shaking his head, "The only day you'll ever get out of your room huh."

"Hey! That's only because I like to invent in my room! It's nice and quiet in my room, don't judge me." Harper said, placing her hand on her silk linen pajamas.

Otto gently nudged Harper's side and said softly, "Cone on."

"Alright, alright," Harper said, with a wave of her hand. Harper and Otto started walking down the hall. "You really need to show me more of your inventions Harper!" Otto exclaimed, his fast processing mind trailing off to her intriguing and bizarre creations.

Harper beamed and said eagerly, "I will just as soon as I finish with this last one!"

"Whats this lat one you speak of?" Otto asked, obvouisly interested now.

"Its Pama! It's just a prototype, but in time it'll be able to do great things and make this world even better than it already is!"

"You have some crazy idea's in that head of yours, Harper." A new voice joined in.

Harper glanced up and beamed even more. Hands folded behind his back Hadrian stood, a small smile tugging on his lips.

"Happy birthday Harper!" Hadrian exclaimed, adjusting his crooked glasses with his freehand while holding a tiny vibrant red box in the other.

Harper took a step forward and ever so gently, Hadrain set the small box in her hands.

With an excited glance, her fingertips glided towards the mahogany lid. Harper bit her bottom lip as she lifted off the lid.

Her mouth hung open like a gaping fish and she threw her arms around Hadrian. "Thank you! Its just what I needed!!" Harper exclaimed, Hadrian slowly wrapping his arms around her.

He laughed, "Knew you'd like it!" He said quickly, as they pulled away.

"Aw quit you all know mine is best for Harper!" Mevia uttered suddenly making Harper jump.

"You gonna give her a heart attack before you can even give Harper her present, Mevia." Hadrian said, crossing his arms over his chest as he leaned against the wall.

"Oh please, she's too young for that." Mevia said, playfully rolling her eyes as she walked towards Harper, her multicolored dress flowing beneath her feet.

Mevia swiftly handed Harper her gift, the cyan gift bag large and pretty. "Woah it's, so sparkly," Harper commented, shaking the bag gently.

"Open it! Open it!" Mevia cheered while fiddling with her fingers.

"Okay okay...," Harper said with a chuckle. Harper quickly set down the red blx she had received from Hadrain and slowly took out a ebony box from the shiny gift bag.

Everybody watched with joy as Harper opened the lid of the raven colored box.

A ton vibrant ruby colored redstone was sparkling in the box and Harper's smile widened. "This is just what I needed!! Thank you sooo much Mevia!" Harper exclaimed, giving Mevia a quick hug.

Otto chuckled and Hadrian quickly glanced at him. "That's not all you got," Otto said softly, revealing a meduim-sized lime colored box. Harper gazed at the lime colored box in curiosity.

Slowly she opened the box and her mouth hung open again. "Otto! How did you know I needed one of these!!" Harper exclaimed, staring at Otto with surprise.

Otto shrugged, smirking, "I have my ways."

Harper hugged Otto, pure joy on her face. Harper hastily let go and set her heavy gifts down. "Thanks guys!" Harper said, smiling gleefully.

"Did you forget?" Mevia asked, tilting her head. "Forget...." Harper drifted off.

"Yep she forgot," Otto confirmed with a quick nod.

"Come on Harper," Hadrain said, with an amused shake of his head as he lead Harper into the kitchen, the others following close behind.

The first thing Harper noticed was candles flickering. The sweet smell of cake filled Harper's nose. "Make a wish Harper."

Harper closed her eyes, took a deep breath and blew out the candles with one breath. Harper opened her eyes again and smiled.

She was extremely joyful mostly because she knew that her birthday wish had already come true.

Well I based this on Harper and the old builders because I haven't really did a one shot on them yet, so why not do a birthday one shot on them! Well thats all I have for today see you tommorow!
