Once again, my body reflex woke me up at exactly six in the morning.
I washed up, put on a red cashew sweater paired with beige leggings and a dab of lip gloss.
After heading to my Singaporean class to mark attendance again, I went to the canteen and bought a meat bun like the last time to eat.
I finished my bun, and remembering the accident that I caused yesterday, I decided to walk slowly up instead. Anyway, the teachers were always late so I shouldn't care too much.
When I entered the classroom and was about to walk to an empty desk, I was splashed with icy cold water from behind.
My hair was soaking wet, and I couldn't see anything because it was sticking all over my face.
Just then someone in front of me pushed me onto the ground, and splashed even more cold water onto me.
I heard laughter, and it was way too familiar to me.
Of course, it would be Adiata and her group of friends.
"Why are you doing this to me?" I managed to stumble out, trying to stop myself from chattering. What's worse was that I was still on the floor, my hair was still stuck to my face, and the floor just made everything colder.
A few students wanted to help me, but Gevonne and Hayen stopped them.
"Why? Because you flirted with my boyfriend yesterday, and you caused me to freeze to death on the plane that we came here on!" Adiata yelled in Korean, making sure that they were given the wrong impression of me.
It seemed to work, because those few students that wanted to help me suddenly had doubt in their eyes, and the other students that crowded around started whispering among themselves.
I brushed my wet hair out of my face and glared at Adiata, but it only made her laugh louder.
"I didn't flirt with your boyfriend! He was the one that came to talk to me first!" I exclaimed while pushing myself off the floor.
Adiata saw me being defiant, and raised a hand to slap me.
I wanted to defend myself, but was too late to do so, as a resounding slap echoed throughout the room.
Just then, a voice rang out from the doorway.
"What's going on here?"
Everyone turned to see Jimin standing at the doorway frowning at the commotion.
He was wearing a grey t-shirt with a black jacket on and converse jeans.
The moment they knew it was Jimin who spoke, the crowd of students immediately dispersed, leaving me and my soaking wet glory exposed with Adiata's hand still raised as if to slap me.
Adiata squealed and pushed me aside, causing me to crash into the tables beside me.
I almost passed out from the impact, but didn't.
I now had a red palm mark across my cold wet face, and most probably a fractured arm to go with it.
Adiata ran towards Jimin, about to jump on him, but he swerved away at the last moment, causing her to hug the air and fall onto the ground face flat.
Jimin glanced at Adiata for a moment before walking towards me, not sparing another glance.
Meanwhile, Adiata layed on the ground, hair messy and face contorted, unable to except what had just happened.
I stumbled to stand up straight while holding my right arm as Jimin walked toward me.
Pain surged through it, as I had used it to steady the impact of hitting against the tables, and I had to bite my lip to keep myself from crying.
I was still cold and wet from the water, but Jimin took off his jacket and wrapped it around my shoulders.
Although it didn't do much to stop me from shivering, it was a warm gesture that made my heart pound.
Suddenly, without warning, he swung his right arm behind my shoulders and his left behind my thighs, and lifted me up, carrying me bridal style.
I yelped, and grabbed on to his shoulders reflexively with both arms, which was a big mistake as my right arm felt like it was being stabbed with a knife over and over again, and I cringed.
Gasping from the pain and coldness I was feeling in my bones, I focused on not fainting from the torture I was being put through.
"Hey, hang in there. I'm here." Jimin whispered into my ear in English, giving me a sense of hope.
I didn't even focus on how close I was to Jimin at that moment, or nice he smelled, or how strong he was to be able to carry me with that ease, or how he was staring at me with worry in his deep brown eyes, or even where he was taking me.
All I knew was that he was the person that rescued me in my time of need, and that I needed to hold on to him.
Of course, I didn't last out long to the pain that seemed to have spread to my head, even though it was barely a minute.
Without warning, a wave of dizziness hit me.
The last thing I remembered was teardrops falling from my face onto Jimin's already wet shirt from my clothes and him running, taking me somewhere as fast as he could before my world went dark.
When I woke up, the first thing I saw was messy, fluffy pink hair.
