Valentine's Day Special❤

It was a week before Valentine's Day, and all the boys were busy making jokes about the girls while the girls were busy gossiping about the boys.

Basically, the boys were being extra funny to the girls, and the girls were being extra flirty to the boys.

Austelle Rosé had been dating a boy called Yoonmin for about three years. This year, she was looking forward to spending Valentines Day with him, since it would be the first time her school was hosting a Valentines Day festival for all students.

Rosé's three best friends, Lisa, Jisoo and Jennie all had dates to the festival already.

Lisa would be going with Jungkook, Jisoo with Taehyung, and Jennie with a guy from another school named Kai.

She was the only one that hadn't been asked on a date yet, and she had been spending that whole week waiting for a message or call, or even something romantic when they met up for lunch to ask her to the festival, but nothing happened, Yoonmin seemed to have forgotten about it.

How could he though? Almost everyone in that neighborhood were talking about the school festival.

The festival would be on the next Thursday night, since Valentines Day was on Thursday. Rosé, Lisa, Jisoo and Jennie all agreed to go shopping together on Wednesday after school for festive dresses, before a sleepover at Jennie's house and then the big night on Thursday.

Since the school was hosting the festival, there were no lessons for the day, which allowed students to prepare for the night in the morning.

The festival would be open from the afternoon, but most of the lovey dovey special events would be at night.

The week passed by quickly, with Rosé still not having a date to the festival. On Wednesday morning, she received a text from her boyfriend.

Yoonie: "Hey babe. I've got to tell you something."

Rosé: "Yeah, what is it?😘"

Yonnie: "I'm so sorry babe, but I can't take you to the festival this year. I've got a football competition on, it sucks. Again, I'm sorry, I still love you❤"

Rosé: "Oh... It's alright, I understand. Have a great night. Love you."

Yonnie: "Thanks babe. Love you too. It's alright if you don't go to the festival."

Rosé didn't answer, she was quite hurt by him. Why didn't he inform her earlier? Now she had to tell her friends the bad news.

During lunch, Rosé sat down with her friends, along with Jungkook, Taehyung and Jimin.

Rosé and Jimin were really close friends, Rosé was probably closer to him than her own friends, but they only remained best friends as Rosé already had a boyfriend and Jimin a girlfriend.

Sometimes, Rosé doubts herself for choosing Yoonmin though, seeing as how he always chooses his hobby over her, but since it was her who fell for him first three years ago, she couldn't break up with him could she?

Although she had to admit, sometimes she felt like she didn't and never loved Yoonmin.

"So guys... I have bad news." Rosé said sadly while slipping into the seat next to Jimin.

"What's the matter girl? Spill it." Lisa asked worriedly, and her other friends nodded, as if Lisa's words spoke for them.

"I... Don't have a date to the festival, so I can't go with you guys. I'm so sorry, but I think I'll end up staying at home eating ice cream while you guys go and enjoy yourselves."
