There wasn't any interaction between me and Jimin after the cafeteria incident for a few days.

In fact, even if I wanted him to come talk to me, Adiata was always hanging around him, making sure he doesn't go anywhere far from her. She's been quite clingy to him these days.

It wasn't until three days later when I got tired of seeing Adiata flirt with Jimin in front of me every time I walked into the classroom, did I do something.

I went up to them and sat down next to Jimin, which caught him by surprise as he raised his eyebrows at me when I did that.

"So Jimin, where is your hometown in Korea? I'd like to know more about you." I asked while smiling at him in Korean.

"Excuse me Austelle, but can you leave us alone? We're doing something here." Adiata snapped at me from the left side of Jimin, I was sitting on his right.

"The classroom isn't just for us Adiata, it's fine if Austelle or anyone else wants to talk to me." Jimin commented before turning to me and making conversation with me.

Adiata was once again left alone as Jimin turned all of his attention to answering my questions, be it about school or his life.

Fuming, Adiata got up from her seat and stormed off to flirt with another guy that could be considered as good looking as Jimin, but Jimin was too absorbed in talking with me, so he didn't notice.

When class started we went back to our respective seats, mine at the back and Jimin and Adiata sitting together.

How Adiata managed to get the seat that was right beside Jimin when we first started studying here, I don't know.

When it came to lunch, Adiata grabbed my left arm, preventing me from exiting the classroom like everyone else.

"I have something I want to talk to you about." Adiata said.

"Okay?" I answered, but didn't expect her to pull me out of the classroom to walk towards the cafeteria.

I guess she wanted to wait for everyone to disperse before doing something to me huh?

Adiata dragged me to the entrance of the cafeteria without saying a word.

We stopped at the entrance of the cafeteria, and Adiata finally said what she wanted to say.

"Stay away from Jimin. He's my boyfriend, not yours. If you don't, I'll make the rest of your life a living hell." Adiata threatened.

I snorted at her, before walking straight up to the table where Jimin usually seats and sat down.

Adiata just stood at the entrance gaping at me, desbelief forming in her eyes.

"Take that." I whispered under my breath before looking up to smile at the Jimin, Jungkook and Taehyung who just walked over to the table and were extremely shocked to see me sitting at where they usually sat.

"Hey, I just wanted to spend more time with you guys. Don't mind me." I said coyishly.

"Of course! We don't mind at all. Now let's pick up where we left off the last time. We were talking about how Jungkook stuffed himself like a pig weren't we?" Taehyung smirked before putting down his tray, along with Jimin and Jungkook, before sitting down.

And that, is how I dealt with Adiata.

For another few days, she didn't bother me. Jimin, Jungkook and Tae agreed to spend lunch with me everyday since of course, we were such a great match.

It wasn't until another week later when there was a pair project that the Korean students had to do with the Singaporean students till the end of the month, did Adiata get the upper hand, and it felt like Jimin and I were drifting.

It felt as if I was losing the thing I needed the most in my life.

It started with the announcement.
