Jimin's P.O.V.

It had been so long since I talked to her, so when she came up to me during lunch and started talking to me, I didn't really expect it.

I was walking down a hallway with Adiata and her friends revising our script for the project to the cafeteria for lunch.

"Hey." I felt someone tug my sleeve from behind, and a familiar voice filled my ears.

I stopped walking, turned around, and saw Austelle looking at me pleadingly.

"I need to talk to you after school today, right after History. Please. Just give me five minutes and meet me at the back of the school." She pulled my head down to whisper into my ear.

I looked at her in surprise, finding her request weird, but it had been quite long since we hanged out together, and I missed her presence, so I nodded my head at her.

After getting my consent, Austelle immediately ran past us and into the cafeteria.

"Baby, what did she ask you for?" Adiata whined and pulled at my arm.

It was then I remembered that Adiata existed and that I promised to work on our project after school with her.

"Nothing really, anyway, I'm going to be late after school because I have to go back home to get something to help with the project alright?" I made up a lie and just continued walking to the cafeteria, ignoring the grip that tightened on my arm.

I didn't see Austelle again that day during lessons, she'd been doing that alot lately, skipping class.

The problem was nobody knew where she went, and I didn't really think about it, until today.

The fact that she never came to class anymore since a week ago intrigued me, so I looked forward to meeting her at the back of the school after the last class.

In class, I couldn't focus at all, and accidentally ignored Adiata a few times.

I was having flashbacks to my memories with Austelle, from the first time we met, to the first time I flirted with her, to how Adiata hurt her.

Oh, right. How could I have forgotten.

It hit me like a brick in the head.

I'd lost my care for her that time she fell because Adiata supposedly accidentally tripped her.

I didn't actually think about it that much, but now that I think about it, she had ran away crying.

And the reason why I suddenly stopped caring for Austelle is because of Adiata and the stupid project that I agreed to do with her.

With these thoughts in my head, the moment the bell rang signalling the last class ended, I slung my backpack over my shoulders and was about to run out of the classroom, when Adiata suddenly hugged me from behind.

"Please don't go yet, I have to tell you something." Adiata whispered in a meek voice that supposedly was supposed to make me pity her.

Unfortunately, I found it gross instead.

"Let go of me, Adiata. I have something urgent to attend to right now." I said with a steeled voice, not wanting to waste time.

Adiata bit her lip and loosened her grip around me, and I dashed out of the class, not giving a second glance back at her.

Just as I exited the classroom, a few guys that were from Adiata's class appeared in front of me.

"Hey, how dare you? Adiata wants to talk to you, you can't just run off like that, you don't deserve her!" The tallest of the four which I presumed was the leader, spat at me.
