Chapter 8

Austelle's P.O.V.

The second bell rang, signalling the end of the second period. I stretched and yawned before packing up my books and headed down to the cafeteria.

I bought an Udon set with ease, as usual, and surprisingly managed to get dibbs on the exact same seat I sat in  that morning.

Setting down my tray of noodles, Adiata's conversation with her group of friends caught my attention. She was sitting one table diagonally away from me, and they was talking really loud in English so I could hear them from where I was seated.

The other Korean students were also exceptionally quiet and barely made any noise when talking to each other, so the lack of noise just amplified the popular girls' voices.

I know I'm not supposed to eavesdrop on people since it's rude, but I couldn't help it, and they were talking so loud.

"Hey, did you hear about the three hottest hunks in this school?" Gevonne asked.

"Yeah, totally! I've even seen one of them. I think his name was Jeon Jungkook, he is so freaking hot." Hayen replied while faking a faint.

"Oh girls...let me fill you in. The names of those three boys are Jeon Jungkook, Kim Taehyung and Park Jimin. Now, I so happen to be quite close with them due to my relationship with Jimin, so if you're ever looking to hook up with either of them, just ask me. Just not Jimin of course, he's already taken...by me." Adiata grinned while flipping her hair before leaning forward with her hands supporting her head on the table for a dramatic effect. Which if you ask me, was so 'ugh'.

Wait a second though...did Adiata just say that the Jimin guy was taken by her? What does that mean? Did she have a long distance relationship with him?

I think I'm asking too many questions, but at least now I know who to look out and stay away from if I don't want to cause trouble to myself.

After all, from the way those mean girls were talking, I'm pretty sure they already 'marked' the boys they were talking about theirs.

"Look! There they are! So hot, am I right?" Hayen squealed while pointing to three figures that just walked into the cafeteria.

Feeling curious, I turned my head to catch a glimpse too.

When I saw them, I almost choked on my udon.

Out of the three of them, I definitely recognised one of them, and that's the one with the pink hair.

Seeing him again reminded me of that morning's events, which just made my face a red tomato for the third time today.

However, hearing what Adiata said next really made me choke on my udon.

"You see the one with pink hair? He's Park Jimin, and he's mine." Adiata smirked.

Upon those words, I turned into a coughing fit, which attracted attention from alot of students, especially the popular girls. At least the 'three hottest boys' in the school were too far away to hear my honking like a goose.

"Ew, was she eavesdropping? Come on girls, let's leave here and I'll introduce you two to them." Adiata said while staring at me in disgust and getting up from her seat.

With that, the three of them started walking towards the three boys, who were buying their food at the moment.

I finished the rest of my udon as fast as possible, dumped my tray in the tray return area before grabbing my harversack and sprinting out of the cafeteria.

I do not.

Want.

Jimin.

To see me.

Anyway, according to Adiata, he was taken by her already, which gives me much more of a reason to stay away from them.
