Torture between no trust and ugly clothes

After hitting a few shops and fighting with your uncle one articles of clothing you would actually wear and finding happy mediums you both sat down at the little restraunt area while he went to go order some food. glancing around you took note of the mall patrons. seeing five kids around your age walking to a table near yours. "Gawd i could eat a house!" the blond guy with brown eyes exclaimed. "Joey you're always hungry" a girl with short brown hair poked the blond which now you understood to be joey. "Wait here, guys tristan and i will get something for us to eat." a shrimp with tri-colored hair said before he and a tan skinned brown headed guy walked to the counter, the other of the four guys sad down near tea his long black hair held out of his face by a red and black bandanna that he wore on his for head, his green eyes were feirce which caused you to raise a brow in curiosity. yet your uncle sat down catching your attention from the others. you didnt feel odd being the only girl you seen today in all black and slight smirk dances a crossed your lips. Infact all of the girls you seen today were rather plain in the looks department. your uncle just looked at you confused as to what was going through your mind before handing you a sandwhich. you looked at it and wrinked your nose. "Its not one of those veggie burgurs is it? or anything that has to do with fake flavoring right?" your uncle just burst out laughing which you noticed from the corner of your eye that it caught the other's attention and that now all five of them were sitting at the table. "Daffodil, its just a bacon cheese burger. i swear no artificial flavoring in it." nodding you still didnt quite believe your brother but you unwrapped the sandwich and took a bite any way. you really were hungry, you couldnt stand anything the stewerdis tried to give you to eat so you hadnt ate since the couple bites of cereal you had before your parents shoved you to the air port. Smiling you give your uncle your aproval in his choice of food. -atleast its not absolutely disgusting- you thought to yourself. After eating about half of your sandwich you set it down and clean your face with your napkin. "Uncle jack, if i swear not to buy anything gothic could i use your card and run to a certain type of store?" you asking him almost pleadingly. "What sort of store and i would have to check the bags afterwards." you just fold your arms and give him a knowing look. "you know what type of store that i would never ever wish to enter with my uncle."  he gives you a dumbfounded look for a few moments before mouth the word oh. reaching into his wallet he pulls out his card. "I'll wait here" he spoke and i gave him thankful smile before standing and moving to the mall map. As you stood there running your finger a crossed the map you hadnt even noticed the kids from the next table behind you. when you felt a tap on your shoulder you stiffened ready to jump down your uncles throat until you met their gazes.

"Haven't seen ya around before." Joey said as they all smiled the shrimp looked up at you with his big purple eyes. you did finally notice that beneath his blue jacket he wore a black collar even though it didnt match well with a large pyramid looking thing on a gold chain. this did intrigue you though.

"I'm yugi this is joey, tristan, duke, and tea. what's your name?"

taking a step back you felt rather crowded brushing your long silver braids off your shoulder so they dangled freely behind you again. "Uhh.. I'm Midnight Green" you responded as nicely as you could, though having been out of practice it did come out a little cold so you added. "Pleasure to have met you" and held out your hand to the king of games himself.  which your dueling side of you was estatic but also aching for a match to see if you coulda beat him if you hadnt dropped out of the tournament in america that would have been the step below the world championship. Yugi just smile happily and shook your hand. not really being good around people you look behind the kids with a pleading look at your uncle. happy he got the hint but not too happy about the amusement on his face as he walked up.
