 You were making your way to the lunch room with yugi. he was telling you about the friends of his you met the other day at the mall and about how Joey fell into the fountain center peice as he was too busy talking about you and not paying attention to where he was walking. You had to giggle at that as you imagined the senario yugi described. Amazingly yugi had history with you and it was a substitute so we had a free period the whole time and chatted up a storm with him just to pass the time. You couldnt decide if what you had told him in math was actually true or not but still, you were inching more towards calling him a friend. You looked at the lunch choices and decided on the most recognizable thing you could see which was a barbeque pulled pork sandwhich and of course an orange juice. You followed yugi to a table and was just getting ready to cave and tell him something more about yourself when his friends showed up and sat around the two of you. sighing you rolled your eyes thinking about how annoying it was. And just sat in silence finishing your lunch as they talked. Standing you go to take care of your tray but you heard joey ask "Man, what's up with her?" and yugi's quick response. "I think she is just shy, she'll come around." shaking your head you go to your locker and grab your things for your next class which saddly yugi wasnt in. It was business a class you actually didnt want to sleep through that much. You wished yugi would be in it as well but he had said that he and the rest of his friends had Cumputers together but we would end the day with P.E. together. That was reassuring. just two classes without him. Business, and chemestry. Kneeling down at your locker you open up your shoulder bag to just touch jeremy's duel disk, it was black and red and beside your blue one. When you felt alone having a peice of Jeremy with you made it all easier.

*~*You and Jeremy were standing side by side. Finalist, and the two most expected to go to the world championship. Jeremy kissed you on your cheak and was smiling as he held your hand. "Baby as long as we dont get pitted against each other till the end we will both be going to Japan for the world championship."

as the pictures ended we were walking home hand in hand talking about tomorrows matches, and hoping we didnt have to duel each other. Car tires squealed behind us and as i whipped around jeremy shoved me back into an alley way to fight the large men getting out of the black sedan on his own. Cussing him under your breath you jump into the fight just intime to break the arm of a guy that was going to stab him as jeremy broke the nose of another assailant. dropping down to the ground you swing your leg in a leg sweep smirking as your next opponent tried to jump to avoid your leg. He did but you kicked off the ground slamming both booted feet into his gut as hard as you could. With all four down Jeremy grabbed your hand and ran. you both ran double backing around blocks and weaving in and out of alleys in a seemingly non significant direction. By the time you back tracked the long way you made it to your home.  Jeremy walked up to the door with you but stopped you before you could go inside and spun you around to face him. Catching you in a heated kiss you clutched the tight black shirt at his chest as he held you. Breaking for air you both rested your forheads against each other's and you closed your eyes. "We need to fall off the grid. Someone knows about the origional 8 members, last week Sam and Jacob got hit too. No tournament you hear me." I just nodded and moved my head to his chest. "I'm going to head to New York. Get a subdivision going." Jeremy just hooked a finger under your chin so that your eyes met. "I will contact you as soon as I am settled into a place. Dont worry, it will only be until everything blows over and the subdivision can run itself."

"It is the best possible move we can make, no matter how much it breaks my heart for you to leave."

"I understand baby, it breaks mine too and you did say you had wanted a subdivision in New York so this will be a win win for us." With one last kiss he turned and began walking away. "Remember, i'll contact you in a few days when i have a place." *~*~*~*
