The Travel a cross the desert took nearly two days, the freazing nights left you shivering although priest seto didnt seem phazed by it as much as you were. But finally we came up to the kingdom of Ahmose just on the edge of egypt the huge rot iron gates raising as you neared allowing you and the priest to enter on your camels. The ride had been confusing and hurtful but with the pharaoh's guidance you got the hang of riding, but you still didnt know if you looked as if you grew up around them yet or not. Silently you were hoping you passed. With ishizu's explanation you hoped that having her confront jeremy again would open the passage and send them back. but, she would have to win. shaking your head you tried to not worry about the fight ahead and slipped off of your camel for a change you didnt completely fall. stumbling you caught your ballance and smiled to yourself since the shawl over your face hid your expression. In silence you followed Priest Seto to what looked like a bar to you but you knew it would be a tavern and inn at this time. He paid and you went of to your adjoining rooms. where you fell onto your bed giving a happy sigh. Noticing the priest was still standing you propt yourself up on your elbos and look at him. "What's the next plan, has kaiba came up with one or should I."

"He says he would be better off to do it from how clumsy you are but from both of you not being used to the way things are done in this time i insist on being the one to do it."

"To do what?"

"Stake out the castle and find a way inside that has less guards."

"And you think that since you use magic and have an idea of how to stay unnoticable that you should be the one for this task. am i right?"

"Yes, you are correct."

"Then i agree."

"Do get some rest." he spoke as you yawned but when you opened your eyes again he was gone. Crawling up to the pillows you laid down to allow sleep to take you.

You were sitting at the table with your friends at the mall. Today was a great day to hang out with them. They were as riled up as usual and when joey and tristan had gotten hungry they acted as if they were going to die. So there you were sitting at the table getting ready to eat your sandwhich when you heard someone burst into a bellowing laugh looking over you seen this muscular older man laughing and a girl who's silver hair was pulled back into a pony tail with braids yet it still managed to reflect the light in the mall, the dark make up on her soft pale skin made her pale blue eyes stand out. She was absolutely beautiful you couldnt help but watch her as you ate your fries. When you seen her stand and walk to the map you just couldnt help yourself but get up as well. "Where ya going yugs?" joey had asked you and you pointed to the girl.

"To umm. introduce myself." he slung his arm over your shoulder with a grin.

"Well yugs i can say you have nice taste. she's beautiful." and your friends came with you supposedly to have your back for support. But as you came up behind her you were having a hard time saying what you wanted to. it was as if your mouth had suddenly went dry and your voice was gone. So Joey spoke up. "Haven't seen ya around before."

When she turned you felt your heart race and you noticed her eyes were cold. As if she had no feelings at all "I'm yugi this is joey, tristan, duke, and tea. what's your name?"

After she took a step back she finally spoke. "Umm.. I'm Midnight Green." her voice was more beautiful then it had been from a distance. You felt the world around you falling and passing by you until it finally stopped. you were standing by the wall of your grandpa's game shop as she leaned against it. She crossed her arms and you couldnt help but appreciate her. Standing with her deffence up she looked like she could take on the world and mostlikely win. But when she looked at you her cold eyes softened only adding to her beauty. As lights shown on us she actually smiled and it made you feel light. Like you wanted to make her smile like that again and again just to see her do it. "Thanks yugi" is what she said but it was different. She wasnt cold or cruel, she said it as if she actually ment it. As you watched her walk to the car the world began to fall again but this time you felt yourself jump and you awoke from your sleep.

You laid there looking up at the cealing letting the images of your dream run through your mind. You still felt warm from the sight of her smile and you couldnt help but match the smile with your own. *~So that was Midnight~* the pharaoh commented, his tone seeming sad.

-yea, that was her-

*~She looks nearly exactly like Miho. Especially when she was wearing the eyeliner.~*

-im sorry, i didnt mean to make you feel sad-

*~Yugi, no one can help their dreams. I just hope that we can save her so that you wont loose her like i lost miho~*

As you felt yourself falling asleep again you seen a shape in your room so you sat up eyes wide. As He lit a candle you seen it was the Priest seto. "I wasnt the cause for you to stirr was I?"

"No, i was already awake."

"I found an entrance into the castle as we hoped and i watched so we would know the time of day to enter. There are less guards durring the day for most of them are patrolling the kingdom. So it would be best to enter there around noon."

"That's great. We'll go tomorrow so you should get some rest."All he did was nod then went into his adjoining room.

Upon laying back down you realized you werent tired anymore so you laid there imagining tomorrow and what has happened between you and her so far. But, you couldnt help but wonder who she will choose. Will she choose Kaiba, would she give in to jeremy's wishes, or would she actually choose you. Either way you knew you would be her friend but you also knew how hard it would be to see her with anyone else. Would you really be able to keep that ugly emotion at bay?

*~Don't try and rush things yugi, remember only time will tell. if you try and rush you just may end up pushing her away~*

-I know.. but.. do you really think she would choose kaiba or jeremy?-

*~you know, they are probably asking the same thing about you. Each of you are different but yet you have similar aspects as well. As for Jeremy from what you told me she would probably only go to him if she felt it was her only choice. So Jeremy isnt even in this little rivalry. I am sure you and kaiba are great guys and can offer her different things. But she is confused right now as who to choose. I wish i could put you at ease and say that there is no way she would choose anyone but you, but there is no way i can be certain. Just keep your head held high and accept her decision not because it's what's best for her but because you love her and would rather see her happy then not at all~*
