Chapter 11

Taehyung POV:

''w-what? ''

''Help me destroy JTC once and for all'' Bogum repeated with a sinister expression on his face, which scared me to death.

I shook my head repeatedly quietly replying a ''n-no'' with a trembling voice. ''what?'' his voice sounding dark.

''I'm not gonna help you do that'' I spoke, trying to sound confident but knew he could look right through me and see the fear in me.

A dark chuckle left his lips as he turned his head away from me to rest it against the seat.

''I don't think you understand what I'm trying to say here, Taehyung shi''

I kept my mouth shut and waited for him to speak again. His eyes met mine once again and they looked cold. The sweet and charming guy from earlier was gone.

Was this the real Park Bogum? Did he fake being a sweet guy all this time?

''You either gonna help me or I will let everyone know who you really are. And let me warn you, you can go to the King to ask for help but I wouldn't if I were you. I mean, what would he say if he found out you got a little crush on the son of his best friend? who is in fact a boy. He would be so disappointed in you''

A smirk appeared on his face when he noticed the pure shock on mine.

''H-how did you..''

''Know? Oh come on Taehyung, I'm not slow unlike you. you need to be stupid not to see the obvious'' he snorted.

'am I that easy to read?.. if he knows.. does that mean Jungkook..'

his voice interrupted my thoughts again. ''what would Jungkook think if he founds out who you really are? He sure will be disappointed in you as well, knowing that you lied to him. what a shame that would be.. ''

I kept quiet and gave him a glare. I had no idea what to do right now. whatever I would choose, it was going to backfire me anyway.

If I do as Bogum says, not only will Jungkook and Mr. Jeon hate me but what will the people think of me? I'm the prince and soon to be King..

But if I don't do as he says.. he will tell everyone who I am and.. tell my dad about my crush on Jungkook..

What am I supposed to do?

''you know what, I'm gonna be nice and let you think about it for now. but I expect an answer really soon'' he suddenly said and started to car to get back on the road again.

He drove me to Jungkook's place and dropped me off, but not before warning me once again about the deal.

Once he drove off I slowly made my way to the door with shaking legs.

As soon as I reached the living room, I noticed Jungkook sitting on the couch.

When he noticed my presence, he quickly got up and rushed over to me with a worried look on his face.

''V! where were you? I called you a thousand times but you never picked up! I was on my way to pick you up but you weren't there. How did you get home?'' he raised his voice a bit.

I looked at him with a hurt and sad expression as Bogum's words kept replaying over and over inside my head.

The tears were starting to form in my eyes, so I quickly adverted my eyes from him to hide my face. ''V.. what's wrong? why are you looking so sad? Did something happen?'' his voice sounded soft and genuine. He tried to reach out for me but I was to swift and backed off.
