Introduction
Dad is on the phone again, my step mum is down stairs shouting at my brother, Joshua, and Meghan, our step sister. You never get any peace in this house, even if you're two floors up.
My step mum is always shouting at my brother and step sister, Joshua doesn't get along with our new step mum and he hates having a little sister. Even though our step mum has been with our dad for four years we were on our own for three years before so he isn't really used to it. He has always been the baby even though he is twelve years old, our new sister is nine years old.
These days we hardly see Dad anymore, he sits in his office answering phone calls and replying to e-mails. Which he does most of the time. For the past few months he has been at some sort of business war with another company. Sophie's dad's business.
She hates me just because our fathers have had a disagreement. She has always wanted to be better than me, she found just the way to annoy the hell out of me. James. Sophie knew that I liked James and that we are really good friends, well not any more.
James' mum and dad works with my dad so we see their family a lot, Sophie hates that. I don't know what she is worried about, she is the one who always tried to steal our boyfriends, not us.
