Chapter Fifteen

I unbuttoned my school shirt and pulled on a t-shirt and put a white fluffy jumper on over top because it was February and it would be cold outside. I changed my school skirt for a black skater skirt. Once I had got changed I took a pair of ankle boots out of my wardrobe and put them on.

"Have you got changed yet?" Katherine asks from inside the bathroom.

"Yeah." I shout to her.

She comes out of my en suite bathroom, she is wearing a pair of black skinny jeans and a white t-shirt and a navy blue cardigan. She is also wearing a pair of ankle boots but hers have a heel on them which make her the same height as me.

Neither of us knew what to wear because Callum wouldn't tell Katherine where we are going. She brought some clothes to school so she could get changed at my house.

I sat at dressing table and put some makeup on because I was only wearing mascara and a bit of concealer. I put eyeliner on and some pink lipstick that almost matched the colour of my lips. Katherine sat on my bed also putting some makeup on. I just brush through my hair because I don't have time to straighten it.

We are ready just before twenty five past four. We go downstairs, I say goodbye to my dad and step mum then we leave.

We get to the park just at half past. Alex walks up the pathway opposite us and we meet up at the park gates.

"Hi, you look good." Alex says.

"Thanks." I smile. "You look good too."

"Thanks, I rushed because I only had ten minutes and I didn't know what to wear."

I look at him to see what he is wearing. He is wearing a pair of blue jeans, a white t-shirt with a checked shirt over top with some black trainers. "Were you checking me out?" He asks

"No." We both blush.

"Will you two just go out already!" Katherine shouts, waving her arms about.

Alex and I just glare at her while she stands there awkwardly.

The taxi arrives about a minute later, Alex gets in first, then me, lastly Katherine. The taxi driver smiles at us as we get in. He starts driving as Alex turns to look at us to speak.

"You do realise Bella and I don't know what he looks like so we have no idea who we are looking for." He says.

"Yeah but I know what he looks like."

"Of course you do, he is your boyfriend." I say.

"Just follow me."

"Okay." Alex and I say.

We arrive in town about half an hour later on the road outside the square I pass the driver the money and we get out.

"Where is he?" I ask.

Katherine points over to where the fountains are. There are several people standing over there so I'm not sure who she is pointing to. We walk a bit closer and a boy with ginger hair straightens up and walks over towards us. He pulls Katherine in for a hug while Alex and I just stand there awkwardly. When they finish hugging Callum turns to look at us.

"Hi Callum." I smile.

"Hey Bella."

"Hi." Alex says and nods his head.

"Hi Alex."

They do some sort of hug that isn't really hug, I'm not sure how to describe it. We walk out of the square and down the street, Katherine and Callum are holding hands while Alex and I just walk next to each other behind them.
