Chapter one

Doctor Ogar's POV

**

Recap..... Katherine had ran away from home when her father had given her until nightfall to rid her of her pregnancy... Let see how far she had gone!

It's been three months since my daughter ran away from home and nothing has been the same.

I've searched everywhere but it seemed, she has vanished into thin air with no traces of her existence alongside that kid that got her pregnant.

I thought she knew better than to fall for that boy who has brought her nothing but shame and disgrace and despite all that, she still choose to run away with him.

Heck!

If only I had left her behind when she wanted to stay back in London; none of this would have happened. I failed as a husband in my attempt to save my wife and now as a father. Everyone thinks am a monster! Even my co-workers thinks I chased her away from home.

I admit I made a mistake by threatening to abort her child but what the heck was I supposed to do as her father. Applaud her? Hell no! And with the amount of anger I was feeling the moment I found out the whole Goddamn truth was enough to send me over the edge.

To think that I trusted her to always tell me the truth only to have her lie straight to my face about every single damn thing.

She made me looked like a fucking lunatic in the sight of my own friend and his family.

To think that his son was part of it all makes me feel even less of a father.

And as if that's not even enough; Aunt Nene has been threatening to move out of the house ever since she left home.

I can't even ask her to stay! Even my own daughter had chosen a life of misery over what she had and right at this moment, she is at it again. Bags in hands and ready to leave.

She stopped in her tracks when she saw me by the entrance.

"May I have a word with you before you... You leave?"

She gave a weak nod before she dropped her bags on the floor and followed me from behind as I walked towards the living room.

"Please have a seat" gesturing towards the opposite cushion but she made no attempt to oblige me even as she stood with her arms crossing her chest.
