Katherine's pov

Leaving our love ones behind isn't always as easy as everyone make it out to be. Some will even go as far as telling you how you are gonna be back before you know it and can even call them on video calls and the rest of other technology made easy but the truth still remains;it's no way comforting as having your love ones close and being right where you are.

I'm supposed to be packing at the moment but the whole place is littered with my clothes with Darien and Derek crawling all over it in a playful mess. I just can't stomach the fact that I will be leaving them in a few days for my scholarship abroad.

The scholarship board had called over a month ago to inform Lavi and I about our admission aboard and it was a thing of joy at first until it suddenly dawned on us that we will be leaving our kids behind in order to make it possible.

More hell

Lavi hasn't been around for a while now and it's so hard being here with the kids and without him at the same time.I understand that he had to go but I still can't help but miss him a lot.

He needed to get his travel papers ready and in order to do that,he has to obtain some paperwork along side his father at their state local Government so he had to go.

Aunt Nene isn't at home at the moment; she had gone to the market and dad was at work too leaving me alone with the boys for now.

I could hear my phone ringing as I sat there crying but I couldn't figure out where it could be exactly. Derek was seating on it all along as I retrieved it from his butt.

Gosh!

I have several missed calls from Lavi and my dad too.He usually calls at least every two hours to know how we could be faring . Lavi on the other hand too must be having a hard time living without us as well.

Placing Derek on my laps,I quickly redialed Lavi's number. Darien grabbed hold of my hair brush and was about to nimble on it before I took it away.

Damn!

"You can't eat that baby or you will get hurt" I scolded him and he looked at me with a stare as if he could understand just what I was saying to him before he smiled back at me and it melted my heart completely.

Awww

"Hey princess" lavi's voice calling at me through the receiver had pulled me back to reality as well.

"Hey Lav,sorry I missed your calls"

"It's okay. I can only imagine why so no need to explain" he assured me through the receiver.

I was rather quiet for too long as I sat there listening to his voice over the phone and wishing him to be back already.

Can't even begin to explain how much I miss him at this point.

Hearing his voice does things to me that are unexplainable like right now,am imagining him at the moment playing with the kids while he still manages to steal a kiss from me.

Gosh I miss him

"Princess? Are you still there?" He called at my attention again
