Makayla's POV
I looked into Luke's eyes, I never really noticed the blue in them. How the dark sand lights swirled together, all frosty and beautiful.
My eyes are gray. Just gray.
"PIZZAS HERE!" I heard someone shut from downstairs. Luke got up, looking at me expectantly.
"Coming?"
"No. Thanks."
"Please? You gotta eat something."
"No, go. I need to be alone."
"I'm telling Michael."
"Go ahead. He won't care. You might, but he doesn't."
"May,"
"What? He forgot my name, yelled at me for something my parents did, and didn't even look at me with any emotion except hate when he found out that I- what happened."
"Please. Just eat a little."
"You're not going to if I don't, huh?"
"Yep."
"Fine." He took my hand and pulled me downstairs. The others had already dug intoned the three pizzas stacked on the counter.
"You guys okay?" Calum asked.
"Yeah, we're fine." Luke answered. Michael rolled his eyes.
Luke dished up two pieces of pizza on a plate, handing it to me. The door bell rang and I used it as an excuse to not eat.
"May." Luke followed behind me closely. I swung open the door to reveal the person I could kill if I had the guts to.
Sam.
"Umm, You alright?" Luke rested his hand on my shoulder and Sam sneered.
"Your backpack, bitch." He thrust it into my hands, walking away.
"May, baby what's wrong?" My tried to touch me again, but I gasped and flinched away.
"D-don't call me baby." I backed away.
"May, I'm just trying to help. Can you tell me what's wrong?"
"N-n-"
"Wait, is the guy who-"
"What're you two rambling on about in here?" Michael asked, grabbing Luke's arm. "C'mon man, let's go play video games."
"But-"
"So I was thinking about..." Michael droned on as he pulled Luke down to the basement. Yeah.he cares. Barely even put up a fight.
He's probably just saying he cares out of pitty. I hate sympathy. It makes me feel pathetic, liek I need everyone to know how bad I have it. I don't. I'm just fine without people and their pitty.
I have to go to school tomorrow, face them again. I just want to stay at home and cut. What? It's not like I've got anything better to do.
Sorry this is so short!
