Makayla's POV

They all banged on the door while I shrunk down it, collapsing into a puddle of tears.

"Open this door right now!"

"Please, don't do anything stupid." Stupid? If I kill my self in this bathroom it'll just make everyone else happy.

"Go away. Please." I begged, just above a whisper.

"May please listen to us and open the door." Luke's voice rang out softly, in an attempt to comfort me.

"Go away! I want to be alone."

"May, darling, please. I know you want to be alone but we need to see you're alright." Luke coaxed again.

I slowly reached up and undid the lock, the door immediately flying open. Luke engulfed me in a hug as I buried my head into the crook of his neck. Tears streamed down my face.

"Shh, it's alright. Everything will be just fine." I looked up to see Calum and Ashton looking down at me worriedly, while Michael was typing on his phone.

Piece of shit brother.

"Michael..." Ashton said, elbowing him.

"Hmm? You're good? Good. My pizza will be here soon." And with that he turned around and left my room.

"Guys, can you give us a minute?" Luke asked the other two. They left.

Luke carried me to the bed, gently laying me down and snuggling up to me.

"Babe, I need you to tell me what you feel."

"No."

"May. Now." His voice suddenly got stern,  and I obeyed. So I told him everything. From the minute Michael left for tour to now.

Luke's POV

I love this girl. She's so beautiful and strong, going through all of that and not killing herself when she had plenty of chances.

"I'm so sorry you had to go through that.  Michael's an ass."

"It just feels like nobody cares. Michael only texted me once, and then he said sorry wrong number."

"I care." She looked at me with wide eyes.

"Y-you do?"

"Yes. I know we've only known each other. For about six hours, but I care."
