"Yeah, Percy's getting better."

Nico glanced up from the papers he was grading. "That's good. How much longer is Will going to stay?"

"Why? Is he bothering you too much?" Annabeth laughed.

"Yeah," Nico said simply.

"He seems to take a special interest in you, Nico," Annabeth drawled. She watched as Nico's hand twitched, the grip on his pen becoming tighter.

"Really? I had no idea," Nico replied plainly. "I think it's because I've had many near-death experiences. He's just looking out for me, he does the same to everyone."

Annabeth could tell he was getting uncomfortable. She felt bad, sure, but she wanted to get the information she was looking for. She had waited too long to bring the topic up.

She rested her head on her palm lazily. "So you wouldn't happen to like Will- as a friend- right?"

"He's not that bad," Nico said, choosing his words carefully.

"And how about as a boyfriend?" Annabeth added casually, bringing Nico to have a coughing fit.

"Excuse me?"

"Oh, sorry, I just heard you mutter 'that was close' when Percy asked about Will. I guess I heard wrongly."

"There's no point hiding it, is there?" Nico sighed.

"Nope."

"Well, yeah, I like him. So what?" he admitted quickly, hiding his face under his mop of black hair.

Annabeth smiled brightly, a twinkle in her eyes. "I'm happy for you, Nico. I'm sorry for pestering you so much."

"It's okay," he said lightly, waving off Annabeth's apology. "It felt nice to confide in someone."

Annabeth hopped off her seat and grinned, "I think you know who you should confide in next."

"Really? Does his name start with a 'w' and rhyme with 'bill'?" Nico asked, a smile creeping up on his face.

"Sounds a lot like my name."

Annabeth and Nico froze as Will walked in.

"Whatcha talking 'bout?"

Annabeth took this as her cue to leave. "Okay, bye! I'll leave you two to talk."

Luna hummed to herself as she pulled out her diary.

She opened the worn out book, her thumb smoothing over the leather cover. She used to write in it often- mostly talking about her day or new magical creatures her father had found- but ever since she was kidnaped, the writing had stopped.

The pages of the thick book were crisp and yellow after having it for nearly eight years. Luna flipped to a page filled with tiny notes she had written down ever since she heard the voice in her head.

"Again? What are you writing? No one will see it. Your pleas of help are useless."

"I'm writing down my thoughts. Please do not disturb me," Luna said calmly, the girls in her dorm not sending as much as a glance her way. Apparently, talking to herself was normal when it came to Luna.

She began to write. She wrote about Percy's recovery and how she felt bad for him. Then, she held up the book Hermione had lent her upon request.

Monsters of Greek Mythology.

Luna opened the book to the page she had bookmarked- the topic on Eidolons.

She knew she could've asked any child of Aphrodite with Charmspeak to help her, but she figured she could get rid of it on her own. She didn't want to disturb any of the campers.

"How's Katie holding up?" Luna asked softly. The Eidolon snorted at her need for it to fill her up on the others. It seemed to underestimate Luna, which she was perfectly fine with. It worked in her favour.

"She hasn't told anyone yet. We gave her the most powerful one. She won't be getting out soon."

Luna nodded in thanks, copying down the Eidolon's words. She would find a way to help Harry and Katie too.

"One more thing."

"What is it now? My brothers have punished me, leaving me with you," the Eidolon groaned.

Luna chose to ignore it. She smiled kindly, though after the words she spoke, it appeared more menacing than kind.

"Do not possess Harry again. Leave Katie alone too, for that matter. I'd appreciate it."

She closed her book in satisfaction when the Eidolon quieted. It had better things to do than argue with her.

Luna hid the books under her bed, a determined glimmer in her eyes.

She was going to get out.

"What do you reckon happened back in Charms?" Ron asked.

"It's probably about Percy," Ginny said, sitting next to Harry in the Gryffindor Common Room.

"But what about him? He hasn't been seen in days," Harry said. "Although, now that I think about it, we still don't know what happened to Percy."

"They wouldn't tell us," Hermione shrugged. "We can't push them, Harry. It'd be rude."

Harry rested his head on his palm. "Yeah, but he's our friend too."

"There's nothing we can do about it, Harry," Hermione said, looking at him sympathetically.

"Speaking of things we can't do anything about," Harry grumbled." "Sorry about the outburst earlier."

"Was it the Eidolon?" Ginny asked quietly, looking down at her hands that rested on her lap.

"Yeah."

Ron's head perked up. "Mate, I completely forgot. I didn't even think-"

"It's okay, Ron," Harry smiled kindly, though only hours earlier he had felt his frustration dragging him down.

"It's really not," Ron insisted, guilt building up inside of him.

"I should've tried to fight it more," Harry said disappointedly. He blamed himself for not being able to get a grip of himself- of the demon that lived inside of him.

"You couldn't, Harry. It controls you, there was nothing you could do," Hermione reasoned understandingly.

"It's my fault!" he growled, his fists clenching. "I shouldn't have let it in!"

"Let what in?"

They whipped their heads around, fearful that the boy leaning against the sofa near them had heard their conversation. They hoped he hadn't heard much, considering he had asked about what Harry said.

Then again, the situation was bad, no matter what way you looked at it. He would continue to question their conversation, even if they answered his one simple question that meant so much more.

"Let what in?" Travis repeated. His eyes were bright and playful, like he had just found an embarrassing secret of theirs.

It was much more than that.

They exchanged looks, contemplating their answers. Harry was about to laugh Travis's question off, saying he had heard wrong when a sudden thought came to him.

"What if Percy was possessed too?" he thought. "It would explain why Annabeth, Travis, Katie and Nico refused to talk about him. He was possessed by an Eidolon, they somehow knew, and they didn't want anyone else finding out. That means Percy had hurt himself, more than likely under the control of the Eidolon that was possessing him."

It seemed far fetched, but Harry didn't believe Percy could be unconscious for such a long period of time all because of a little drink. Praying that it would ring a bell, Harry looked Travis dead in the eye and answered before anyone else could.

"There's an Eidolon possessing me."
