Chapter 5

(Wanda PoV)

I looked at the Accords, curiously. I knew this was a result of the incident in Lagos. I looked up, across towards where Lieutenant Rhodes was sat. I pushed the contract towards him, across the table.

"Take some time to look it over-" The Secretary said,

"-and if we come to a decision that you don't like?" I heard Nat say,

"-then you retire."

I glanced down the table, past Vis and towards Nat and Steve. Nat had a small smile across her face and Steve. Steve looked annoyed. Steve must have seen my look because he spoke next.

"Enough-" he said, when he looked at the images flash on screen of New York, Sokovia and Lagos. Especially Lagos.

"Captain Rogers- do you understand what I am saying?" Ross asked. I glanced to Steve again and he simply nodded. But not before his eyes met mine. "Talk it over-" Mr Secretary added, "I'll be in touch."
