(A/N this chapter is dedicated to @cattyclove. Please go follow her for her idea that got me out of my writers block whole. And I'll also be adding quotes at the beginning of my chapters for all my books.)

"I'd like to remind you that we're in the middle of a pitched battle, but hey, hey, take your time"- General Rahm Khota

Krakoom! At the sound of that, Korrsk said, "I think we hit something."

"Hah, you think?" Said Bane.

"Shut it, you two," I said. I walked to the back of the escape pod. Unfortunately, when we were supposed to "bail out" the back hatch was sealed shut. So we ended up going down with the pod. I kicked the back hatch as hard as I could. Finally, it opened.

I looked outside. Apparently, we'd crashed into the outer wall. I was about to take a step outside, but it was a dead drop.

"Whoa!" I said as I took a step back. "Great . Now how are we going to get out of here?"

As if in response to my question, a loud roar above us signaled the approach of a ship. I recognized that sound. When I saw the ship, I saw it was a modified Fire-Spray Craft. But it was.......purple?

No. No no no no no.

The ship came closer to the pod. The rear hatch opened, and a person in Mandolorian armor said,"You guys waiting for an invition? Get the fierfek in here!"

The ship was hovering as close as it dared to the back half of the pod. If it even touched it, it could possibly dislodge the pod and we would all go plummeting to our deaths.

It would take quite a jump to make it into the ship.

"Korrsk, you're up," I said.

"Ssssss, if I die, I'm going to kill you, Fett." I was about to tell him that didn't make any sense, but he jumped. He soared through the air, and barely made it onto the ship.

"Bane," I said.

He walked to the edge of the pod, crouched down, and clicked a button on his gauntlet. A blue flame shot out of his boots. And he shot through the air and landed in the hatch.

"Come on Fett! Those turrets are going to see us in any minute now!" Shouted the Mandolorian warrior.

I was about to jump, but the enemy turrets had apparently seen the ship. Red bolts streaked from the turret and peppered the ship's shield. The Mandolorian turned around and bolted towards the controls. The ship turned around and started shooting the turret. One of the bolts missed the ship and hammered into the pod.

"Agh!" I shouted as I covered my head with my forearm from the falling shrapnel.

The pod creaked and groaned, and it started sliding backwards.

Oh, stang.

The pod then went from sliding to free falling.

All that I could remember was plummeting to the ground.

(Flashback)

"Try and keep up, Boba," shouted a young girl.

"All you need to worry about is yourself, Lil," I replied, vaulting over a low wall. The rain was pouring on top of us, but I didn't care. All I cared about was winning.

Lil wasn't far behind me, so I doubled my speed. I can run surprisingly fast for an 11 year old. I jumped through a whole in the wall, and hit the ground running.

Stang, I thought. Here was the part where I always messed up. I ducked the first beam, jumped over the second beam, and completely slid under the third. And I did this all without stopping.

I kept on sprinting until I reached the the Citadel. I glanced up at it. I grabbed the nearest peg and started climbing. Then, Lil was ride beside me on the opposite side.

"You know I'm not going to let you win this, right?" She said and flashed a grin.

"Guess you'll just have to compromise," I replied, returning the grin.

We both redoubled our speed. We made it to the top, and I sprinted towards the flag, but sharp blow in the back of my knee sent me sliding on the wet platform. Instantly, my instincts took over. If Lil wanted to play rough, I would to. I grabbed her ankle as she ran past me , and she fell. I pushed myself up and ran as fast as I could with my remaining energy.

I grabbed the flag, and was holding in up in the air when something big sent my flying.

"Nice job, Boba, " said Lil laying on top of me. I pushed her off with a playful shove. "I still hate you though," she said flashing a quick grin.

"Same here, Lil." Lil was was a human like me. Her parents had abandoned her when she was a baby, and Jango had found her and took her in. He had trained us both and we trained together.

The Citadel was a challenge that Jango made, to keep the clones fit. But when the clones weren't using it, me and Lil would compete.

Finally , the tire and weariness had sept into my bones.

"C'mon, let's go," said Lil.

"Race you there," I said and we took off.

(End of Flashback)

------------//\\-------------

Ouch, I thought. I hurt everywhere.

I'm still alive?

I sat up, despite the pain. I looked up, and saw the sky was black.

Have I been out that long?

I got up. A sharp pain in my chest caused me to gasp.

Broken rib.

I looked around, and all I saw was wreckage from the pod.

I walked as far away from Dirk's base as possible. I walked to my where I had landed my ship. I walked inside, and took of my chest armor and helmet. I slapped a bacta patch on my left rib cage. Then I turned on my comm and switched to a channel.

She better still use the same channel , I thought.

"Lil, come in? You read me?" I said.

"I read you Fett. I thought you were dead," said a feminine voice.

"Don't sound so dissapointed, Lil. What are your coordinates?"

"We 're east of the base."

"I'll see you there."
