Epilogue

Two months later.

  I had started moving in the day after I agreed to live with them. My new room looks almost exactly like my old one, just bigger. They didn’t take any of my furniture which is believable because it was horrible furniture. Although I did insist my couch go into my room with my other stuff.

  That couch has always been with me, especially when I went through my Dad’s death. It also holds many happy memories with my Dad. No way was I getting rid of that damned old but bloody comfortable couch. Yes I just randomly swore. Get over it.

  They also put plenty of vases around the house and filled them with water and flowers. I was a water element hence the water, and surprisingly Sophie was an earth element, fire element hybrid so there were plenty of flowers for the water.

  Kayla was a little weird since she was part fey. Her father apparently was a quarter fey so I’m not entirely sure I could trust the creepy seven year old. But I do, and the creepy seven year old who asks way too many questions also accepts me.

  Seth’s room is across the hall from mine and I have a massive window in my room. The thing is half the time I sleep in my room with Seth and the other half I’m sleeping in his room with him. We take turns with the beds. I am not entirely sure his family knows about the ‘bed hopping’ but I sure know not to mention it just in case.

  Anyway I have settled in pretty well and my nice new family brought me plenty and I mean PLENTY of books to keep me happy. They just so happen to have a room that is their own private library so I shall be forever happy.

  But that isn’t the only reason I am happy. I finally have a place to call my absolute home, I finally have a perfect family (well perfect to me), I finally have my amazing soul mate with me at all times and I am finally safe and happy.

  I look exactly as I did two months ago, although my hair is longer and I may or may not have a couple more tattoos. Seth also got a couple of tattoos to match mine. Lillian wasn’t very impressed by it though.

  Anyway today is a perfect day. I am with my family and we are all happy. It was true what Lillian said. An angel’s presence is MUCH welcomed. Demetrius even moved in with us and now Lillian and him are back together which is hard to believe but we are ALL happy.

  Also Sophie has just met a guy who might just be her soul mate. You never know. Fate works in strange ways.
