Me and Marissa are on our way to the mall to pick up some cute accessories for Lia's baby shower. "so...you and Demi huh?", Marissa said whilst looking at me quickly then back at the road smirking.
"what do you mean?" , "the looks, the blushing and the undeniable chemistry between you two, don't tell me there's nothing" i felt my cheeks turning red and instantly looked out the window to avoid Marissa seeing.
"i really have no clue what your talking about" i stated calmly trying to act as if i wasn't madly crushing on her. "okay, you wanna play that game... i see" she smirked again

after a log car ride to the mall full off question for Marissa about what me and Demi did last night and her trying to get the truth out of me, we finally arrived.
we collect the final decorations and made our way towards Starbucks to grab lunch, it was 2:06pm and i was starving. we grabbed a table after collecting our drinks and salads; iced caramel macchiato + a caesar salad for me.
whilst eating and talking absolute rubbish with Marissa i was scrolling through social media, i oped snapchat and saw that Demi had posted on her story and i immediately smiled thinking about her; weird i know...
i tapped on her icon and saw a picture of her wearing my t-shirt,

i couldn't help but stare at her gorgeous face that was followed by her amazing body. i hesitantly texted her:
B: hey... what you doing later??
D: hey!nothing i can think of, why?
B: i was wondering if you wanted to go on that dog walk we talked about earlier? you know my dog and your dogs?
D: miss me that much ;)
D: and yes i would love too... text me when your back form hanging out with Marissa and we can meet at the park?
B: ...maybe and yes that sounds perfect :)
B: see you soon x
i looked up from my phone to see Marissa with her eyebrow raised and a smirk on her face, "was that Demi?" she asked, "maybe, why?" i asked looking down to avoid her seeing my blushed cheeks. "you were smiling like a crushing teenager finding her first love, what was she saying?" she was still smirking, "we were just planning a dog walk thing for later this afternoon".
"ooh, so you guys really can't stay away from each other, is it that bad?" she said slightly chuckling at the last part of her sentence. "stop, okay... can we just go now so i can meet her" i asked. "yes my young loved child we can" and with that we were leaving Starbucks and on our way back to my house.

i texted Demi once i arrived at the park that we had arranged to meet at, i stepped out of my car holding Benji in my arm and walking over to wait on a bench.
