"You can do this," Stan said, hyping himself up. He bounced in one spot, as if was about to run a race. The novice was avid about his passion, making and baking.
"Dude, we're baking, it really isn't that hard," Liam sighed, used to this type of behavior. He walked over to the fridge, grabbed butter, and placed it by the other ingredients on top of the kitchen counter.
"We're missing something," Stan said, silently reading over the ingredients on the recipe sheet he printed from some website. "Guess."
"UGH Stop being so Ambiguous... just tell me what you mean," Kyle replied, rolling his eyes. He turned around to face his best friend. Stan looked back at him, giving him his best you'll-need-to-guess-since-I'm-not-telling-you face. Liam glossed over the countertop and gave a shrug in response.
"You're wrong! We are missing the most Imperative ingredient: eggs!" Stan said like a gameshow host.
"I SWEAR!" Kyle shouted, doubling over in laughter. Stan joined in after a few beats. The gallon of milk splattered onto the floor. They both looked at it apathetically. A few seconds elapsed.
"'I'm not the one to sort of sit and cry over spilled milk. I'm too busy looking for the next cow," Stan quoted.
"Who said that one?"
"A very intelligent and respectful man."
"Which is..?"
"Gordon Ramsay," Stan said, letting a few giggles fall out of his mouth and spill onto the floor, like the milk.
"S-MOO-th," Kylecommented. "Seriously though, I just want to finish baking these cupcakes for the bake sale. Let's start actually making these babies."
"You got it."
