Chapter four

I knew what it was the second I smelled them.

Rouges.

The worst of the worst. Well at least most of them. There were always those few that weren't all that bad. But I had a feeling they weren't gone be to nice.

"What did I tell you." Said Daisy.

"Well you could've been more specific!" I responded angrily.

"Don't worry we'll be fine." She tried to reassure me.

"How will we be fine I can't even defend myself against my own family, what makes you think I can against rouges!? They're way more vicious!!"

"Just let me take control and we'll be fine."

"If we die, it's your fault."

And with that I let her take control. Well some control. We walked closer to where the rouges were and the smell was terrible. I crouches down behind some bushes trying to see how many there where. There was about 5 maybe 6.

"Oh great 5 on 1." I told Daisy.

"Be quiet will you!"

"Yeah yeah whatever."

I walk forward and the rouges notice me. They all turn and look at me. They were so, ugly. Most of them had a lot of scars and matted hair. They all had dark fur, but it could've just been dirty.

They all started growling and I don't think there was really any one in charge. They weren't that much bigger than me, but I didn't think I could take them all by myself.

As they continued growling they starting walking closer and closer. I then started growling back and walking towards them. I don't know what Daisy was thinking, but I lunges at the closest one.

They were to slow to move out of the way so I ended up biting into one of the rouges shoulder, causing them to whimper in pain.They then pushed me off and one of the other rouges started coming after me. I was quick to move out of the way, but the first rouge I attacked scratched my side and I yelped in pain.

The three other rouges then started coming after me as well. The next think I knew, I was surrounded. I was trapped. I didn't know what else to do.

"You have a plan right?" I asked Daisy panicked.

"Of course I do, now let me take full control. Trust me."

And with that I attacked the rouge in front of me. I don't know where Daisy learned to fight, but she knew how. As I was fighting one rouge another one came and jumped on my back. Then another one. I was outnumbered. As I struggled to free myself I talked to Daisy.

"I thought you said you had a plan!!?" I yelled at Daisy.

"I did!! But there's to many!"

"Well it's not working!! Let me back in control!!"

She let me have all control back. I struggled to push the rouges off but I somehow managed. I then grabbed my bag and started running. As I ran I could sense the rouges behind me.

I didn't dare look back because I knew it could cost me. I didn't realize I had lost them until I finally got tired and decided to rest. It was still night so I decided to sleep for a little while longer.

"So much for a plan." I told Daisy.

"I could've had them!"

"And we could've been dead!! We were so outnumbered Daisy what were you thinking !!??" I yelled at her.

She didn't respond after that. I stayed in my wolf form and laid down on the floor. Sighing I closed my eyes, waiting for sleep to consume me.
