Alpha Luca (work in progress!!)

Chapter twenty two

The next morning I woke up feeling great. Luca had finally told me he did have some kind of feelings for me. Although he admitted those feeling for me I still felt that whether he went through in his past was going to hold him back from showing his true emotions.

Getting up from my bed I got ready for the day. I straightened my hair and then I put on a black short sleeve polo shirt with ripped jeans and black nike air max 90s.

Walking downstairs I made my way to the kitchen. I never really ate breakfast here but I didn't have training today with Liam.  But when I entered the kitchen I was surprised to smell my mates scent.

He was usually out of the house way before I was even awake. So I was very surprised that he was still around.

Since I wasn't that hungry I decided to go back out into the garden. As I made my way to the swing I was shocked to see Luca already there. I tried to be as quiet as I could so I wouldn't disturb him.

"I know your there." His voice traveled through the air.

"Umm I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bother you." I said quietly as I turned to go to another side of the garden.

"Wait." He paused.

"Come sit with me."

I slowly turned back around and just stood there staring at him.

"Are you sure? I didn't mean to bother you." I said looking down as my shoes.

"It's fine I promise." He replied.

As I made my way to the swing I could feel myself getting more and more nervous. I didn't know why. I mean, maybe it was because I knew of his feeling or maybe he wanted to get to know me more.

Neither of us said anything for a while. We just admired the view and enjoyed each other presence. Then he finally spoke up.

"I'm really sorry for how I've been treating you." He said.

I didn't know what to say. I was kind of in shock. He barley confessed his feeling for me yesterday and how he's apologizing.

"It's okay. Like I said last night I haven't been the best either." I replied cracking my knuckles. Something I've always done when I get nervous.

"No it's not okay. I let you get pushed around by Avery and didn't do anything to stop her. Then you ended up in that fight with her and it's all my fault."

"It's not all your fault Luca. I agreed to fighting her it's not your fault." I responded softly.

"Yeah but if I would've just treated you right in the first place none of this never wouldn't have happened." He responded looking down at the floor.

Hesitantly I reached over and grabbed his hand, making him look up at me.

"I promise Luca whatever it is that's holding you back, isn't your fault." I explained looking into his eyes.

"It's just- I feel so bad for what I've put you through and not paying you any attention." He said putting his other hand on top of mine.

"Then tell my why you did it. Just explain to me why you acted the way you did and maybe I can help you."

"You can't help me! It won't matter what we do I just know it'll happen!" He exclaimed standing up and letting go of my hand.

"Please Luca I just want some kind of answer." I begged softly as tears came into my eyes blurring my vision.

He didn't say anything. He just looked at me then looked back to the garden.

"You're seriously gonna cry because I won't tell you?" He scoffed.

"I just want to know the truth Luca! I wanna know why your treating me like this! Just last night you were so sweet to me and now your back to being cruel to me!" I exclaimed as tears ran down my face.

Turning around I started walking making my way back into the house. As I was walking I felt him grab my wrist pulling me back.

"Don't walk away from me jade this conversation isn't over!" He yelled.

"Yes it is! You don't want to tell me what's going on." I said slowly walking forward and pushing on his chest making him stumble backwards.

"You're the reason I'm crying and your the reason I don't want to be here. Your just using me for your own pleasure because you don't even want me as a mate. You just want me so you can have someone to pass down the alpha title too and I'm not gonna be your little toy you can boss around because you don't want to man up and tell me what's going on!" I yelled shoving him back again.

He stood still not saying anything and just stared at me.

"See You've proven my point exactly." I said Turing around and walking back into the house."
