Alpha Luca (work in progress!!)

Chapter twenty seven

Once we got back to the house I couldn't sit still. Pacing back and forth in front of the couch clutching my head I muttered to myself.

What if they try to take me back?
What if they try to hurt me again?
No Luca wouldn't allow that... would he?

"Jade please calm down." Luca said standing up from his spot on the couch to stand in front of me. Grabbing my hands he stopped me in my tracks.

"Everything's going to be okay. I won't make you see anyone and they won't touch you, not while I'm here." He told me while tilting my chin upwards towards him.

Letting out a sigh of relief I nodded giving him a quick kiss. He smiled softly at me. I knew this was going kinda fast with all the affection but it seemed to calm us both down.

We both made our way to the couch where we sat in silence waiting for Liam to arrive. After a small moment of silence, Luca finally spoke up again.

"Look I didn't understand what's going on but, I hope we can get through this together. I hope you can trust me and know you can tell me anything." He told me while looking into my eyes.

"I just didn't tell you before because I didn't want you to think of me differently. And now that I know about the curse, I didn't want to add more stress." I responded while looking down.

"Just know that no matter what, I will always be there for you, and we will break this curse. Together."

After hearing all the things he told me, I couldn't help but tear up. No one had ever cared about me like this. This was something I had never felt before and I didn't I didn't know how to feel about it. To be honest, it kinda scared me. I now had someone who worried for me and would do anything to make sure I was safe. I just didn't want to let him down.

Thanking Luca for his sweet words, I gave him a hug and cuddled into his side. We waiting for a while until Liam finally showed up.

"Sorry I took so long." He said as he walked through the door.

"They just really wanted to talk to you and I had to make up an excuse." He added while making his way to the chair across from the couch.

"So... where do you wanna start Jade?"

Sitting up straight I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

Are you ready to tell him? Asked Daisy.

"Well he was gonna find out one day, so it might as well be now. Please be there for me and help me." I responded to her.

"Of course, let's do this."

Turning to look at Luca I glanced back at Liam. He gave me a small nod letting me know it was ok and that I could trust them.

Letting out a deep breath I began explaining.

"Alpha Brock was my old Alpha before I got here."

Pausing I took a deep breath. Luca slid his hand up and down my back to help comfort and calm me down.

"H-he wasn't the best Alpha out there. I mean no ones perfect right? But he was different. He knew about all of the things my family did to me and never helped me. He allowed them to do what they wanted to me without any consequences.  That family he's with, is my family."

"Family? I thought you were born a rouge?" He questions giving me a look.

"No I wasn't. I escaped from my old pack, my family hated me. They would abuse me and starve me. They had me working at their own personal slave basically. It was torture. Of course they weren't always that bad. At first I could handle it. But once they started hitting me and not giving me food for sometimes even days or weeks, I knew it was over for me. I had no good chance of ever leaving. But that all changed one day. I decided to leave."

I looked over to Liam for help as I didn't know how to continue. I felt that what I was going to say would make Luca feel embarrassed to have me as a mate.

"So I-I left and never looked back. I ran for days and at one point I encountered rouges. I though I would be able to take them on but I couldn't. I ended up getting hurt and making my way to your land. I never meant to cross your land. And that's when Liam found me." That's when I looked over to Liam for help with my story.

"When I found her on our land I saw the way she looked. Her body was covered in bruises and scars and scratches. Honestly she looked horrible. She was very malnourished and she didn't look good." Liam explained to Luca.

"The reason I never told you about my family was because I didn't want you to see me as more worthless than I am. I didn't want you to see me in that way. Also at that point you didn't care about me. You had pushed me away and I didn't want to bother you."I finished off my story.

"So this all happened because of your family? Who do they think they are testing someone like that ?" He exclaimed angrily standing up.

"Luca please, this is why I didn't want to tell you." I explained standing up to his height.

"Please don't do anything!" I begged as tears ran down my face.

"Don't do anything? They deserve to be punished !" He yelled storming out of the house.

Looking towards Liam I knew this was going to end up bad. He had lost it. Who knew what he would do.

"We have to stop him Liam please!" I told him.

"I think it might be too late now. Now that he knows the truth, he'll never forgive them Jade. He's going to give them rent they deserve."

Although I knew he was right, and they needed to know what they did was wrong. I didn't want it to end up like this. Would this ruin his reputation? Would this make his curse worse ?
