KLAUS ENTERED HIS BEDROOM, EXPECTING HIS WIFE TO BE THERE BUT SHE WASNT. He made his way to the nursery where his toddlers were but their mother wasn't. Thalia was nowhere to be seen.
Klaus then went to Elijah's study, still searching for Thalia, "Where the bloody hell is she?"
Elijah, who had been doing some light research, looked up when his brother entered, "I assume we are talking about Camille. . ."
"No. Thalia, the mother of my children, my wife, where is she?" Klaus looked around, "And where is Camille?"
"Just refresh my memory, Niklaus. Was I the one who impulsively handed her a daylight ring?" Elijah asked, "Oh, no, that's right. It was you"
Klaus sighed, "She left, didn't she?"
"Shocking turn of events, yes" Elijah spoke, sarcastically, "So, why don't you go and find her? I shall deal with the growing nightmare of our family's potential extinction"
"Yes, always the diligent defender, despite the fact that the danger has somewhat subsided, what, with Tristan de Martel now literally sleeping with the fishes?"
"A darker threat remains. Now, if something out there is capable of killing us we should probably find it" Elijah said.
"I'd love to. However, I got Camille into this mess and I have to find Thalia" Klaus told him.
A tired Hayley entered the study, "Thalia left right after midnight and Cami left around sunrise. My guess is that Thalia needed some air?" The brothers looked at her in concern. She looked rough, "I couldn't sleep. I saw them leaving from my balcony"
Hayley hesitated before speaking again, "So, I was wondering if maybe it was okay. . . if I stay here a few days?"
Elijah nodded, "Of course you may" Hayley gave him an appreciative look. His phone started to buzz, "Forgive me" Elijah apologized before leaving to deal with his call.
Klaus approached Hayley. He placed a hand on her shoulder, "Hayley, this family comes with many, many hardships, but there is at least one benefit— you have a home here. Though she doesn't want to admit it, I know that Thalia needs you by her side"
Hayley sighed, "Yeah well I'm taking things slow considering the fact that she hasn't fully forgiven me yet"
"I need to ask a favor. Would you mind taking care of the children while I search for Thalia?" Hayley nodded, she left the study to go see if the twins were awake.

I HAD LEFT THE COMPOUND EARLY IN THE MORNING TO GO FOR A WALK. I've had nightmares ever since Jackson died. His death replayed in my head every time I closed my eyes.
