"I ASSURE YOU, MY LOVE, NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN" Klaus reassured me for the third time. After yesterdays events, Klaus had gone to sleep and woken up later than he normally did which honestly worries me. We were in bed, discussing the whole Lucien thing. I didn't think that it was safe to just ignore Lucien because we had Aurora. He wouldn't care.
I heard the doors downstairs open and a frantic Cami shouting for the man beside me, "Klaus?!"
Klaus sighed. I looked at him, "I think you spoke too soon"
We left the bed and went downstairs to see what was going on with Cami.
"Kla—" Cami stopped herself when she saw us.
"Cami, what happened?" I asked.
Cami wore worried expression on her face. She turned to Klaus, "Something happened and you're going to be angry but Lucien wants you to be angry. He's trying to lure you into a trap"
"What did he do?" Klaus asked.
"Promise me you won't fly off the handle and do something crazy" Cami requested and I noticed how Klaus' eyes instantly softened, "Promise me"
Klaus grabbed Cami's arm and pulled her sleeve up, revealing a nasty bite, "Before you lose it. . ." Cami trailed off, "Klaus, look at me. I care about you and I won't let you get yourself killed"
"Camille—" Klaus started but cut himself off when Cami suddenly fainted. He quickly caught her in his arms, "You're not dying today"

FREYA, KLAUS AND I STOOD IN KLAUS' STUDY, TALKING. Cami was sitting on the sofa, looking weary and pale.
"Cami?" I called but she didn't seem to hear it, "Cami?"
I walked over to the sofa and sat down beside her, placing a hand on her shoulder, "Cami, hey. Are you alright?"
Cami finally looked at me, "Yeah. Considering"
Klaus approached us with a cloth hand. He crouched down in front of Cami, "Hold still. This is going to burn" He pressed the cloth to Cami's bite and she immediately gasped in pain, "Ow, ow, what is that?"
"It's a healing salve," Freya told her, "Motherwort, white willow bark, the recipe's over a thousand years old"
I looked at my in law, "So the good stuff, huh?"
"It will ease the pain, dull the symptoms but it won't stop the infection" Freya answered.
