"Why would they want her nana rose dead?" Veronica asks as we walk through the hallways to get to the canteen. "I have no idea, but Cheryl seemed afraid."
"And we're going to the sleepover?" she asks and i nod. "Absolutely. Investigating is in my blood." I reply and she laughs.
We walk into the canteen and collect the food that we want. Once we have, we sit down at the regular table with Archie and Jughead, in the middle of a story Arch is telling Jug.
"...no bro you don't understand. I literally threw myself behind the tree so Mrs Anderson wouldn't see me. That woman is scary." He shudders and Jughead looks at him with mock shock.
"No way, what happened next?!?!?" he mockingly asks, leaning on the table towards Archie. Veronica and i laugh at the situation.
"Well, then she saw me and i had to think quick. So i told her i lost a contact lens behind the tree. Thank goodness for my brain." he says, tapping his head and we all laugh.
"Sorry to interrupt this amazing storytelling," we hear a voice say. We all turn our heads to see Cheryl standing at the end of the table. "But i need you all to come with me."
We all stand quickly, following her out of the hall and leaving our table vacant. She leads us to an empty classroom and locks the door, before turning to face us all. We all look at her in confusion. "What's going on Cheryl?" Veronica asks, sitting on a table.
"Well miss Lodge, i realised that it was only right to expand my sleepover invite to three other deserving guests." We all look at her, waiting for further explanation.
"And so i have decided that both Archie, Jughead and my dear friend Kevin will most definitely be at my house tonight at 8 along with yourself, Elizabeth and Josie."
"And Archie and i are going for what reason?" Jughead questions. Cheryl's gaze moves from Veronica to Jughead, tilting her head. "For two very simple reasons Mr Jones. If something happens tonight, my friends and i will need protection. You are a serpent and Archie works out a lot so you are both in good shape. And you never turn down an invitation from a Blossom."
"Fine, we'll go." Archie replies. Cheryl looks over at him, a smile on her face. "Well, it wasn't really a choice. Kisses!" she pulls open the door and walks out, leaving all four of us in the science room. The bell rings out and i suddenly realise that i never got the chance to speak with Peter.
"Ok, i'll see you all at Cheryl's." Veronica says before exiting the room, followed by Jughead and Archie. I turn off the light and shut the door behind me, running to class before i'm late.

After dinner at Cheryl's, we make our way into the sitting room where there are 7 mattresses laid out on the floor. I sit on one of them and Veronica sits on the one next to mine.
"Alright, so i trust Betty told all of you the situation." Cheryl says and everyone nods.
"Good. Now i am aware that it is a dangerous situation but that will not stop us from having fun tonight." she explains.
"So please, don't be afraid unless we are given a reason to be afraid." We all nod at what she said. She grins at us all. "Great. Now, who wants alcohol?" she asks and everyone immediately jumps up and follows her to the kitchen.
I stay back and check my phone. I scroll through my notifications until i see Peters name. I open the text from him.
From: Peter Parker
Hey, we didn't get the chance to talk earlier.
Just as i'm about to text back, everyone comes running back into the room, throwing on shoes and jackets. "Guys, what's going on?" i ask. Everyone turns to look at me for a moment. "Moose just got shot." Kevin exclaims. I jump up in shock, grabbing my jacket and following everyone out of the door.
