Dallon gets home at around 11, that night. He is feeling confused and it was his own fault, but he kept trying to convince himself that it was Brendon's fault.

He had said that he wanted Dallon to be his new daddy.

And for some reason, Dallon couldn't stop thinking about it.

He had always told Josh that he wasn't the person to become a caregiver because he didn't have the time, he had a company to run and he didn't think he was the person to ever have a little. He couldn't handle the responsibility of having another person to take care of.

But maybe, maybe he could take care of someone else. Brendon wasn't going to be little 24/7, so maybe he could age up when Dallon was at work? And Josh could help him, right?

Dallon thinks about how genuine Brendon had seemed when he told him that he wanted Dallon to be his daddy. And, god... Did Dallon want to just pick him up and tell him that he was there for Brendon.

After a few glasses of scotch, he texts Amy, telling her he probably will work from home, tomorrow. Then he takes one last drink and decides to go to bed and just forget about Brendon.

It was the best to do that anyway because he knew that he shouldn't ever have a little.
---
He wakes up at around 3 am, with a headache and his phone is ringing.

"Who is calling me at the ungodly time?" "Dallon, I am so sorry I'm calling but Brendon is having a fuc- hecking meltdown and he keeps screaming that he wants his daddy." "I'm not his daddy." "Please, Dallon... I know that you're not his daddy, but I am desperate. Maybe this will work." "I'll get a cab."

Dallon ends the call and orders an uber before he gets dressed and drinks a few glasses of water.

When his uber arrives, he gets in and tells the man the address.

"So, where are you going, this late, sir?" "A friend's house. He needs some help with something." "At 3.30 am?" "Just go."

The driver just stays silent and soon they arrive at Josh's house.

Dallon pays and the driver wants to hand him his change, but Dallon shakes his head.

"Please, keep it." "Thank you, sir." "No problem."
