Dallon goes to bed early, that night. He had nothing to do, anyway, so why not just try and sleep.

He spends a few hours staring at the ceiling, very tired, but he still doesn't fall asleep.

It's almost 3 am when he gets out of bed again and just walks into the kitchen, to make himself some tea.

He usually liked to drink coffee, but he knew that it would only keep him awake more and he really couldn't use that, right now.

He slowly drinks his tea and just stares off into the distance, his eyes feeling way too tired to really focus on anything.

Around 4 am, Dallon goes back to bed and he closes his eyes, lying on his side and he looks at the clock.

After a while, he closes his eyes and breathes slowly, trying to calm down so he can fall asleep.

But of course, he still can't fall asleep. And it's frustrating and a part of Dallon just wants to cry.

At 7 am, Dallon decides to get out of bed, even though his body is telling him that he really has to rest because he can barely walk anymore.

He goes to get himself some coffee and sits down on the couch with a loud sigh.

He drinks his coffee and just sits on the couch, looking at the black TV screen.

He's too tired to really think about anything, his brain too hazy with sleep to process anything.

He missed Brendon. That's one thing he really knew and one thing his brain could process, but that was about it.

After a while, Dallon lies down on the couch and for what seems like the first time in eternity, he falls asleep.

When he wakes up again, he feels a little better, but not too much. He's still tired and he has a dull headache.

He slowly gets up and drinks some water before he looks at his phone, seeing that Brendon would probably be home soon.

He knew that he couldn't ask Brendon to take care of him, but it would be nice to at least have him home.

When the front door opens, Dallon smiles and walks into the hall. Brendon immediately gives him a hug and kisses his cheek.

"Hi, Dall..." He mumbles and Dallon feels his heart jump.

"Hi, honey. How are you?" "I'm good. What about you?" "Pretty tired, but I slept for a few hours, this afternoon." "Really? That's good." "Yeah. I'm still tired, though."

Brendon nods and they walk into the living room.

"How was it at Josh's place?" "It was good. Tyler wasn't in little space for a while." "Really not?" "Nope. It was kinda weird because I don't see him like that a lot. But he's really doing a lot better, mentally and that makes me happy." "Yeah, that's really nice. Did you study, yesterday?"

Brendon nods again and Dallon smiles again.

"I think I'm gonna study a little bit, right now. Can you handle?" "Yeah, of course, I can, honey. I'm just gonna lie on the couch. If you have any questions, you can ask me, okay?"

Brendon smiles and kisses Dallon quickly.

"Thanks, Dall."
