After yet another sleepless night, Dallon decides to go see a doctor.

He makes an appointment and gets to the office pretty early, sitting in the waiting room and just reading a magazine.

It had really been a while since he'd gone to the doctor's and he was immediately reminded of how much he hates it.

"Mr. Weekes?"

Dallon looks up from his magazine and gets up, as he sees a doctor look around.

"Mr. Weekes, nice to see you. Please walk with me, we'll go to my office." "Yeah."

Dallon walks after the woman and looks around, not liking how white everything is.

When they get to the office, Dallon sits down and wait for the doctor to do the same.

"Alright, I saw you called in this morning and your symptoms were that you can't sleep, anymore, right?" "Yeah, that's correct." "And for how long have you been awake?" "I haven't slept in 3 days now." "Alright and does affect your regular life?" "Pretty much, yeah. I haven't gone into work for a few days and I have a pretty important job, running a company and I can't do that, right now."

The doctor nods and writes some things down before she looks up again.

"Okay. How much do you work, per week?" "Around 56 hours a week." "That is a lot. And do you do anything outside of work?" "I take care of someone, yeah." "How old are they?" "6 years old." "Alright. And do you take care of them every day, or only for a few days a week?" "Every day. But he's staying with someone else, right now."

The doctor writes something down again and Dallon just looks at the desk.

"Alright. Well, what I wanna do at first, is try and see if you can take some days off and just rest a little, for a while. I think that you're just very stressed and that you keep overthinking when you want to fall asleep."

Dallon feels a little disappointed. He'd hoped that he'd actually get help, but instead, this doctor was telling him that he just needed to rest. As if he didn't know that already.

"If that doesn't work, I wanna do a sleep test, at the hospital and then we'll see what we can do, okay?" "Yeah, alright... I just... I need to work, I can't just take a break because I've got a lot of responsibilities." "I understand that Mr. Weekes, but it's quite important for your health, sir." "I'll see what I can do..." "Alright. I also want to do a little health check, right now, to see if there is anything else going on." "Alright." "Please sit down on the examination bed and get rid of your shirt."

Dallon does as he's told, carefully unbuttoning his button-up and putting it next to him.

The doctor starts her examination and Dallon just follows the instructions she gives him.

"Alright, everything seems to be fine, though your reflexes seem a little bit slow." "I'm no expert, but it's probably just because I'm tired." "I think so, yeah.  But you seem healthy."

Dallon nods.

"Well, that's good. I'm still tired, but okay..." "I know, sir, but I can't just give you any medicine or anything, without knowing what's going on." "I get that, but I really do need to go to work and everything, so it's pretty hard to accept that I can't work, right now..." "Alright, yeah... Well, we can make an appointment next week, if it doesn't get better and then we'll do the sleep test."

Dallon nods and starts to put his shirt back on.

"Alright, thanks."
