Dallon still hasn't slept.
The sun was peeking through the curtains and all Dallon wanted was sleep. Yet he knew he wouldn't be able to sleep anymore.
The alarm clock read 5:44 am and Dallon exhales.
If he fell asleep now, he'd roughly get an hour of sleep, which would only exhaust him more.
He looks at Brendon, who was still sleeping.
He was sucking on his thumb, his other arm wrapped around Dallon's waist.
Dallon feels contented, knowing that Brendon did have a good night rest. He needed it.
He closes his eyes for a little while and before he knows it, the alarm clock is going off.
Brendon stirs in his sleep, waking up and wrapping his arms around Dallon.
"Dallon, please put it off, I want to sleep some more," Brendon groans and he turns on his back, pulling the sheets over his head.
Dallon chuckles and puts the alarm off before he gets out of bed.
"10 more minutes, okay, honey? I don't want you to be late for school." "Yeah."
Dallon walks into the bathroom and puts the tap on, washing his face and drying it off.
He can hear Brendon walk into the bathroom and he looks in the mirror.
He smiles when Brendon wraps his arms around his waist.
"Hi, honey. How'd you sleep?" "I slept really well, how about you?" "That's good. I didn't sleep, at all."
Brendon frowns, looking concerned and Dallon just smiles.
"Are you okay?" He asks and Dallon nods.
"You look exhausted, though. You're not going into work today, right?" "I suppose I have to, though. I can't just not go because I have a company to run."
Brendon nods, but he gives Dallon a disapproving look.
"You're gonna get overworked, Dallon. That's not healthy." "I'll survive, honey. It's gonna be fine." "Alright, I'm still worried about you."
Dallon holds Brendon's hands and looks at him, in the mirror.
"Thanks, baby. I promise nothing will happen, though. I think I'm gonna ask Josh to pick you up from school though." "That's okay, yeah, I can take the bus to school now, though. Then you can try and still sleep a little."
Dallon feels a little bad, but he would actually like it if Brendon took the bus to school.
He knew it wasn't safe to drive because he was really tired.
"I'll take the bus, Dall." "I'm sorry, honey." "No, it's okay! If you still can't sleep tonight, you're gonna see a doctor, okay?"
Dallon just nods and Brendon lets go of Dallon's waist, turning him around.
"I love you, Dall. And I want you to be okay. I know you're always taking care of me, especially when I'm in little space, but now I'm gonna take care of you. I'll make us breakfast, you go get dressed, okay?"
Dallon smiles and chuckles.
"Yeah, I will."

When Brendon's off to school, Dallon puts the laundry in the washing machine and then he calls Amy."Good morning, Mr. Weekes." "Hi, I want to call in sick. I really don't feel good and I don't think I'm gonna be able to come into work." "Alright, sir. I'll cancel your appointments." "Thanks. I'll try and see if I can come in tomorrow, okay?" "Yes, alright."
Dallon ends the call and lays down on the couch, suddenly feeling a little dizzy.
Maybe he'd go to the doctor today.
