"Don't leave, daddy..." Brendon mumbles, while Dallon is bringing him to bed, that night.

Dallon just sits on the edge of the bed and pushes some hair out of Brendon's face.

"Daddy's not gonna leave, honey. He loves you a lot." "I loves you too, daddy. I doesn't want you to ever leave." "I'll never leave you, love. Daddy's always gonna be there." "Okay, daddy. I's gonna sleep now, but you can't go away."

Brendon seems really serious and Dallon smiles.

"Alright, honey. I won't leave." "Good."

Brendon closes his eyes and Dallon just looks at him with a smile on his face.

He can't help but giggle a little as Brendon opens one eye again, to see if Dallon is still there.

"I'm here, honey. Go to sleep now. You have school tomorrow." "Yeah, I's gonna sleep."

After a while, Brendon falls asleep and Dallon just walks downstairs, to clean up before he walks upstairs again and gets ready for bed too.

He just lies down on the bed and pulls Brendon closer to him, kissing his temple.

Brendon mumbles something in his sleep and Dallon just smiles a little before he closes his eyes.

And slowly falls asleep too.

It's not like it hadn't happened before but Dallon really hated being called by Josh at 4 am.

"What the frick do you want?" He asks trying to stay as quiet as possible.

"I need your help. I need to go visit my mom, but I can't bring Tyler." "Why do you need to go visit your mom?" "Dad fell down the stairs and my mom is home alone, right now." "You can bring Tyler over if you want. I can't come over because Brendon really needs his sleep." "Yeah, I get that. I'll pack some of Tyler's things and then I'll bring him over." "Alright. I'll see you then."

Dallon gets out of bed as careful as he can, as though not to wake Brendon.

He walks downstairs and sits down on the couch, just waiting for Josh and Tyler to get there.

When they do, Josh is carrying Tyler and he looks really tired.

"Hi... Tyler is really little, right now... He's around 3. Can you hadnle that?" Yeah, of course, I can."

Dallon takes Tyler from Josh and Tyler immediately starts crying, making grabby hands at his daddy.

"Hey there, little one. It's okay. You're alright," Dallon says and Josh smiles a little.

"Thank you. I'm gonna go now. I'll call you as soon as I can."  Älright. Good luck."

Josh walks away and Dallon carries Tyler inside, putting him down on the couch.

"Daddy!" Tyler cries and Dallon just pulls him close.

"Hey, daddy's gonna be back before you know, okay?"

Tyler just looks up at Dallon, still crying, but he quickly calms down a little.

"Dally, I wants daddy," he says and Dallon nods.

"I know, Ty. And daddy will be back soon, I promise." "Okay..." "Are you tired?" "Yeah." "You can sleep next to Beebo if that would make you less sad." "Yeah! I wants that!"

Dallon chuckles and lifts Tyler up.

"You gotta be quiet, though because Bee is already asleep."

Tyler nods and just holds on to Dallon's shoulders as they go upstairs.

"Dally?" "Yeah?" "I likes you and Beebo."

Dallon smiles.

"We like you too, Ty."
