/////////////\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\/////////////\\\\\\\\\\I pressed my ear on the door, trying to hear what they were saying.
"Come on Lila and Dame, this is ridiculous!" Leo yelled, frustration clear.
"I could change your daughter, I could make her the girl you always wanted." Leo said.
Lila, my mother, hissed "she's exactly how we want her! I won't let you take my butterfly!" Butterfly was the nickname my parents always called me."Leave Leo, we don't want this. Go find someone who cares." Dame, my father said. "I'm doing you a favor! If you let me do this, I can make her be perfect like the other girls. I'm doing this, with or without you!" Leo growled, he must've stood up, because I heard some shuffling around, and saw a shadow coming closer from under the door.
"Fine. Ask her. This might be what she wants." Mother sobbed.
I thought this might be the right time to walk in. I wrapped my hands around the nob, and pushed open the door.
Leo was standing right in front of me when I walked in. Alright, time to get some answers, I thought.
"Hey Lian." Leo said in a gentle voice.
I looked past him at mother who sat with a red face with dried tears on it, she smiled and wiped them away, and at my father, who smiled at me as he sat.I looked back at Leo who was still staring at me. "What." I said impolitely.
Leo reached into his pocket and pulled out a little round box, about the size of my pinky finger. My eyes flicked from Leo, to mother, to father, to the box, to Leo and to the box again.
"Take it." Leo said, a little amused as my eyes flicked around the room.
I slowly reached my hand out and grabbed the box. I looked at Leo, brought it to my chest, and opened it. I slowly moved my head to look down at the open box. What I found in there, shocked me, more than I can express.Inside the box. Was a ring. He wanted me to marry him? So he could change me! My hands began shaking as all different emotions washed through me.
My hands shook so much the box and ring fell from my hands onto the stone floor.I looked up at Leo who looked at me with confusion and a touch of amusement.
"You. Y-you.." I couldn't form my words, so I decided to stay silent for a moment.
I glared at Leo, all I could see was red, ad my pulse began to get faster and faster as I became enraged.
My fist flew from my sides and smashed into his face, making him fly back against the stone wall. My mother gasped and my father stood up in surprise.I walked up to him and threw the box and ring at him after I scooped it up.
"You don't love me!" I hissed. "You dare ask me to marry you? When you don't even love me! You want to change me!?
And worse, you! " I grabbed him by the throat and lifted him up to his feet.
"You made a tear, fall from my mothers eyes, then you have the nerve to ask me this!?" I yelled. I dragged him to the door.
"You just ruined our friendship. I will never change." I said, my gaze piercing through his fear filled eyes.
"Don't ever let me see you again." I growled an threw him outside, slamming the door.
