"I'm so done, I'm telling Yoongi that I can't do so much anymore. I haven't even spent that much time with Jimin since I started. I only see him when I sleep now" Jungkook said with a heavy sigh. Taehyung chuckled and shook his head "You haven't spend much time with Jimin because you spend it with me. I already told you that you could go on and hang out with him."
Jimin pouted "But then that means I won't see you much either. I'll just tell Yoongi to leasen my work." Just then Jungkook's stomach growled, making Taehyung chuckle "Hungry? Let's go check if they're done." "Who's cooking again?" Jungkook asked as the two climbed down from the watchtower. "Jimin and Yoongi." Taehyung responded.
Jungkook hummed at the names "Have you noticed something off about them?" "Like what?" "Like I don't know, something. I just feel like there's something going on." Taehyung widened his eyes when he remembered what Jimin had told him. 'I shouldn't say anything if he hasn't said anything to Jungkook yet.' Taehyung thought in his mind. "You should ask him, maybe they're just in an argument or something.
When you were gone that's how it was. One minute they were laughing together and the next, Jimin was throwing hands." Jungkook chuckled, an amused smile on his face. "Yeah, I think I'll just ask him." "Oh wait a minute." Taehyung said before the two entered the dining room. He peeked in and only when he got the thumbs up from someone inside did he tell Jungkook to go on.
Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows with confusion. He walked into the dining room to figure out what was going on. He widened his eyes when he noticed the room. There were colored paper around the tables as well as food around the table, which they all pushed so that it creates a long one. They all jumped out from their hiding spot when they saw Jungkook walk in "Surprise!"
"What?. . . why-" "Before saying that you didn't want anything, you deserve it." Jimin said as he walked over to Jungkook. "It's time to move on and see the past as a lovely memory. For the first time in a long time, let's enjoy life while it's still here." Jungkook felt his eyes go slightly watery at Jimin's words, heart hurting at the memories he held onto from their little family.
He nodded his head, sniffling as Jimin hugged him tightly. "We have a new family now, a family that we'll fight for." Jungkook nodded, eyes closed as he tightened the hug "Yes. . . a family that will remain together forever." Jimin moved away, wiping his own tears as he looked at Jungkook "Yes, together forever." Jimin stepped back as soon as Yoongi walked forward, hugging Jungkook equally as tight. "Happy birthday" He said with a smile. Jungkook smiled widely and returned the hug "Thank you." He responded as the two separated.
"Happy birthday Jungkook, I hope you're hungry cause we have something you've been wanting to eat for so long." Namjoon said with a bright smile. "You're gonna love this!" Hoseok yelled as he dragged Jungkook to the table. Taehyung smiled and followed after the two, giggling when Jungkook blushed at all the attention. Jimin smiled before his eyes met Yoongi's. He blushed and looked away, a small smile still on his lips. "Come, let's enjoy this night with the others." Yoongi said, discreetly grabbing Jimin's hand in his as the two walked towards the others.
