It was silent in the car as they drove through an unusually clear freeway. Jimin stared out the window as they passed by a lake and a large amount of nature. It was dark but thankfully, they made it to Washington. "Damn it. . ." Jimin looked forward and realized what made Kara so upset. Right in front of them laid a barricade of cars, enabling them from going through with the car. "Guess we'll have to go the rest of the way on foot." Seokjin said as he got out of the car. "Come on guys, let's go." Louis added as he shook Hoseok and Katie's arms, who had fallen asleep a few minutes before they arrived.

With a groan and a stretch, everyone exited the car, quickly scanning the area around them. "Where are we?" "Issaquah, Washington. We should get out of the freeway and look for a place for shelter." Seokjin responded to Katie's question. "Come on, through here." Jay said as he walked around cars, the others followed. They slowly made it around the barricade, as quiet as they possibly can. They were almost out of the freeway when something caught Jimin's attention. The others stopped and turned to him when he stood still, staring at the other side of the freeway. "Jimin? Are you-?" "Shh, stay down!" Jimin whisper shouted.

His response made everyone immediately crouch and hide against something, Jimin did the same behind a car. He pulled out his bow and arrow, aiming it at the direction he was looking prior. The others stood silent but they were starting to get confused. They didn't hear nor see anything, yet Jimin kept his arrow unmoving. Kara was about to ask or intervene with Jimin's unmoving stance when Jimin let the arrow go. They all widened their eyes when a loud screeching shout was heard. Jimin pulled out another arrow and aimed it a little to the left than the prior one.

Instead of waiting, Jimin let his arrow go when something came running out. The arrow pierced its head. The infected landed hard on the ground, a loud cracking thump. They waited to see if Jimin would do anything else when he stood still and silent. Instead, he let out a breath and walked out of his cover. "Alright, we're clear." "A clicker, we should find shelter, fast." Kara said. "I'll take the rear." Kara nodded at Jimin's statement. "The rest, keep quiet and stay vigilant. There could be more of those out there."

With a sigh of relief, they all relaxed once they entered and apartment building. They walked towards the third floor, making sure to put some distance from the entrance for in case there were enemies nearby. "Check the rooms on this floor." Everyone separated in groups of two, searching through every room. Once they deemed it safe, they all returned to the room that was better kept to rest in. Kara rubbed her face with her hands "Are you okay?" Seokjin asked before sitting down next to her. "I just. . . I'm worried that no one will be there. Or what if they are there but they confuse us or something and attack? It's been years since we've had any word with these people."
