•Hunter POV•
I woke up to something heavy on my chest. When I looked down it was Zach. His arms were still wrapped around my waist.
I got up slowly not trying to wake Zach up but of course I failed.
"Stay" his voice was raspy and he hadn't even opened his eyes yet.
"Zach come on the boys are probably wondering where you are. Don't you got an interview you gotta go to?" I asked him. He got up and fluffed his hair.
"We haven't had an interview in a minuets we're basically on a mini break" he yawns. I roll my eyes.
"Is Why don't we going irreverent?" I laugh. He glares at me.
"Ha ha" he sarcastically laughed.
"Don't get butt hurt it was a joke" i sigh and lay back into bed. He laid down next to me.
"Ya know you're a good cuddle buddy" Zach smirks. I gasp and slap his arm.
"To bad you suck at it" I smirk.
-
We were eating pancakes and watching 'Hairspray' on Netflix.
"Zac Efrons hot" Zach says. I look at him weirdly and laugh.
"Yes he is I guess" I shrug. I look at him again.
"What I know I'm hot but no need to stare" Zach chuckled.
"Can you tell me what happened last night between you and Kay?" His smile quickly turns into a frown. He looks down at his shoes.
"After that mini argument that we had I went to her house and we got into a fight and she broke up with me" a single tear drops onto his lap. I wipe the mark it left on his cheek.
"I'm sorry Zach but you know what your mom says things happen for a reason" I gently rub his back and sadly smile.
He nods and returns the smile.
"Do you think she meant it?" He looks up at me.
I didn't know how to answer that question. There is an answer but there's a difference versus what I believe and what he wants to hear.
I smile. "Who knows if you guys were in an argument she probably didn't mean it and only said it so she could win but who knows" I shrug.
-
It was now the afternoon and Zach still didn't want to go back home. I mean I didn't mind him staying here with me it's just I thought he would want to tell the boys what happened.
I was in the kitchen looking for something to eat while Zach was laying down on the couch.
"Should I text Kay?" He asked. I closed the fridge door and walked to the living room and sat down by his feet.
"I don't think so but if you want to go ahead and do it" I simply shrug. He sits up. I look at him.
"Who started the argument?" I asked him.
"Uhm..honestly I don't know, I think the both of us were just in bad moods and just started to bicker" he scratched his neck.
"Well if you don't know who technically started you should probably text her and apologize" he nodded. He unlocked his phone. His lock screen was a picture of him and Kay. But his home screen was a picture of...him and I?
"Where did you get that picture?" I asked grabbing the phone out of his hands. When I looked at it closer it was a picture of us when we were about five It was winter and we were in our big coats next to a snowman.
He laughed at took his phone back. "My mom sent it to me yesterday morning and I made it my lock screen"
He clicked on Kay's contact and texted her. From what I could read he sent
"I'm sorry babe💔 did u rlly mean it🤧"
I raised my eyebrow. He looked at me confused.
"Is that not enough?" He asked.
"No that's not it it's just I'd expect you to use proper grammar" I fake smiled.
"She'll understand it though" he shrugs.
-
It's been 3 hours. We're at the boys house now since Jonah wouldn't stop calling Zach to come home.
Zach can't go 5 minutes without checking his phone. He's constantly checking to see if Kay responded.
"Do you think she'll read it?" Daniel whispered. The guys were playing Mario cart all except for Zach who was going back in forth in the kitchen.
"If she hasn't responded by now I don't think she will" I respond. He's been tripping since last night. I mean I didn't like Kay but I didn't like seeing Zach in this situation right now.
"Zach stop freaking out she'll see it sooner or later" Jonah told him.
"Or never" Corbyn whispered. I nudged him in the ribs.
I stood up and walked to the kitchen.
"Zach Jonah's right stop freaking out about her answering you if she does she does if she doesn't then she doesn't" i grab his hands and pull him into the living room.
"You finally got him to leave his phone" jack chuckled softly.
"Why are you so worried about her anyway?" Corbyn asked him.
Zach nearly snapped his neck with how fast he looked at Corbyn.
"Why do you care about Christina so much?" He scoffed.
"Christina's different she hasn't broken up with me" Corbyn smirked. It was like Corbyn wanted Zach to get mad.
"Sooner or later she might" Zach looked away.
"Zach stop being such a diva" Jack laughed causing everyone else to laugh. Zach just stood up and left the room.
"Yeah whatever"
