When the lights started flickering jonah let out a scream.
"Jonah I didn't know you could scream" I say.
"I didn't either"
"Do your lights usually flicker?" Corbyn asked.
"No not really"
The lights kept flickering until the lights went completely off. Jonah let's out a bigger scream.
"Jonah it's okay it's just the dark" Daniel laughs.
"Yeah it's only a light out I bet the rest of the complex has a power outage too" I shrug. I wasn't even believing myself. My curiosity was telling me to go see what happened but my gut was telling me to stay with the boys.
"Hunter don't you dare go and see what happened!" Zach sternly orders.
"Zach nothing happened it's just a power outage"
"Hunter are you stupid this is just what happens in scary movies! The one with curiosity always dies first!" Jonah panics.
Jack let's out a laugh and claps his hands.
"Jonah you're over exaggerating"
The t.v shut down too so we couldn't even watch the movie anymore. The guys tried calming Jonah down but something still didn't feel right.
I go to sit down next to Corbyn I feel if i told him about something he'll be less likely to freak out.
"Corbyn something is telling me this isn't a power outage" I whisper hoping the other guys didn't hear.
"Yeah me too the vibe is really off"
Out of nowhere a window breaks.
"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!" Jonah yelled.
"Go downstairs!" Daniel instructs.
Like a lightning bolt we rush down the stairs jonah in the front and Daniel behind all of us.
"My room!" All of us barged into my room and Daniel locked it.
"What was that.." I let out trying to catch my breath.
"I don't know" Corbyn answers. I feel tears trying to fall out and I didn't know if it was because of the stress of all of this or fear.
"Hunter don't cry" Zach comes and sides next to me engulfed me into a hug.
"How the heck would a rock just come into the window I live on the like third floor"
"What window was it?" Jack asked.
"I think the one next to the couch"
"Should we call 911?" Zach asked.
"I left my phone upstairs"
"Yeah me too"
"Same"
Corbyn was the only one that had his phone on him. We agreed to call the police. Corbyn dialed and said they'd be here in 5 minutes but since its LA of course the didn't come in 5 minutes they came in like 10.
We heard a knock on the door. We were all to scared to answer the door we didn't know if it was the police or the person that threw the rock.
"Guys we shouldn't answer"
"Hunter it's probably the police let's just all go together"
"No let's stay if it's the police they would come in somehow" I plead for us to stay and the only person that agreed was jonah. Daniel,Corbyn,Jack and Zach decided to go answer jonah and I held back.
I heard the door open and it was the police.
"Guys it's safe to come out!" Jack yelled.
"I still don't fell okay" I say looking to Jonah.
"Come on Hunter they said it was the police"
"Bubba I'm scared"
"Yeah no shit i am too Hunter" he laughs. Jonah grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the door. We walked upstairs and there was two cops standing there one Male and one female.
"Are you the owner of this apartment ma'am?" The female officer asked me.
"Yes yes I'm the owner"
"What's your name?"
"I'm Hunter Mora"
"And these young men are?"
"They're my friends they were spending the night"
"Can you explain what went on Hunter?"
"We were watching a movie around eleven fifty when the lights started flickering"
"How long did that last?"
"It lasted about like 2 3 minutes I would say?"
"Would you guys agree?" The officer asked towards the guys. They all didn't answer only simply nodded their head yes.
"But after that the lights went completely out" while we were speaking the lights were still off and I don't think they would come on anytime soon.
"After around four minutes of the lights being off the window just shattered it was a rock that gone thrown" it was scary just remembering it even though nothing really horrible went on.
"Would you give me permission to go investigate the scene with my partner Hunter?"
"Please do"
Both of the officers went off close to the window.
"What do you think it was?"Daniel asked
"There isn't much we can say this is out of the ordinary" one of the officers explained. Great these officers aren't any help. There is no way in living hell that the police just said that.
"Will any type of investigation be held?" Corbyn asked.
"At this time no but we would like for you guys to keep your eyes open in case anything happens" the women explained. I mentally screamed.
"We would suggest that you guys don't sleep here tonight" The officers cleared everything up and left.
"We can go to our house?" Zach asked.
"I can spend the night with Myah don't worry" I smile.
"No she's just next door that doesn't really help come with us it won't be a bother" Jack insisted. I got my things from downstairs which is just my phone, and charger.
"You aren't taking anything else?" Daniel asked. I shrugged.
"Why would I? It's only one night plus you guys have blankets and pillows right?" I laugh.
"Yeah" jonah laughs. All the officers could do was put a plastic bag over the big freaking crack in my window. Which really doesn't help but I mean I guess it will have to do for now.
The guys and I got in the car and went to their house.
