His mother walked through the door, she obviously didn't know that there was anyone else inside. Because she started to scold Izuku, her son, as soon as she stepped inside. But he interrupted, "Hey, Tohru. Could you please take Kanna with you to....somewhere? I don't know," I said completely ignoring my mother as she became quiet. "Sure Izu-Kun," she walked into Kanna's room and came out with her still sleeping a few moments later. Tohru walked over to the terrace door with two sets of eyes on her. She promptly opened it, and then jumped off into the night, turning into her dragon form and flying back up into the sky. The building shook when she landed on top of it, "Who was that?" My mother asked, "My girlfriend..." Izuku said meekly hoping to defuse the situation, "Good for you. But that doesn't matter! Why would you go behind your mother's back, and try out for UA, hell, you passed! You know what happened to your father because of that school!" "I know..." "For god's sakes, you can't even hurt a fly, much less a villain!" "I know..." His fist tensed at his side, "You don't even have a quirk! You can't even use magic!" She held out a light blue orb of magic in her hands, "I know! But Mom, I didn't try out because I thought I could pass. I tried out..." His skin transformed into black and green scales, fire came out of his mouth with each exhale, and wings of fire appeared, burning the clothing on his back. "Because I knew I could pass! I know it's dangerous, but I won't let what happened to dad, happen to me!" Her eyes glimmered with tears in the partially lit corridor. "Not now, not ever," she was speechless, she didn't know what to say about the son that stood in front of her, especially when his clothes were engulfed in flame. "Umm, you gonna get that?" She pointed towards his fiery shirt that still clung to his body, "Shiiiiit!" He knew he couldn't eat his own flames, but his mother used her magic on it instantly extinguishing it. "Thanks, but you have to believe in me mom," She looked him dead in his blackened eyes. "Sure, but prove it to me." He was confused, "Prove what to you?" "That you can win against a hero," sweat started to bead on Izuku's forehead. "How about I fight Tohru, I'd rather not hurt my mo-" "You will fight me! Then I'll decide if you can be a hero!" Izuku sighed, there would be no convincing her otherwise.
His mother, Kaori, was a hero before she thought about settling down and having a child. Her husband, did not, and he paid dearly for it....when she was in her prime, she used her magic like it was an extension of her own body. Treating it not as an invincible force that could never stop her, but treated it as if it was a gift that she should never overuse, like the gift of life. Regardless, she was prepared to defeat her son with all the strength she could muster, no one in her lifetime would make the same mistake as her husband did. No one would live a premature life on her watch...
Izuku had flown the both of them to the top of a small mountain, where it was believed a spring of magic had dwelled. But with most types of magic within this world, it dwindled and eventually disappeared. Though the Kobayashi-Midoriya family always made a trek up to it at least once a year. Kaori hadn't climbed it in a few years, because she's been out of the country so she could properly take care of Izuku despite being gone for a portion of his life. Izuku had finally gotten to the top of the medium sized mountain, and landed. His scales went away and so did his fiery wings, Tohru had given him a shirt before he left that was somewhat fire proof, that was because it was from her own world. Why she brought It? Izuku didn't know, he was just thankful that he had some clothing to wear when he flew through the air.
"Alright. I'm ready to fight mom..." Izuku hated the idea of hurting his family, but didn't know that she was a hero before he was born...so he was in for a treat. A moonlit lake was next to them, the light from it causing the water to glimmer without end. "Alright Izuku," a sudden blast of magic came from her, causing Izuku to get pushed backwards. "Prepare to lose!" She was in the sky and ready to slam down a large fist of blue magic upon him. Izuku dodged, but didn't counter her move, so she took the opportunity to swing a new blade of her magic at him. Izuku held up his scaled arms to block it, the initial hit didn't hurt at all, but when the blade started to turn and act like a chainsaw, it hurt. Specks of scales and blood shot from his arms, quickly Izuku kicked the blade away and jumped backwards. "Holy sh-" he was punched in the back, which took his breath away, by his mother, who had suddenly appeared. "Izuku! Language!" She forced all of her power and pushed him back into the ground, making a small Izuku sized crater next to the moonlit lake. He slowly got up from the hole, completely dazed from the impact, he looked as his mother that was over his head. "You Lose Izuku!!!" She shouted as she brought down a magic hammer onto Izuku's head. She thought he was hit square in the head. She thought she had won. But she had thought wrong...
