Chapter 12-A New Level of Strength is Proof of Success

You wouldn't understand where I got the title's name from unless you listen to a metal band Pantera and know two of their song titles. These songs that I put at the start of most my stories, are suggestions of music to listen to. It's fun, heavy, groovy, and sometimes really soft. But Pantera is realllllly heavy, so y'all may not like it.

   Izuku hit a barrier with his head as he ran towards Tomoko and Bakugou, and recoiled backwards onto the floor. He was dazed and confused down there, but he stood up and blinked a couple of times as to fix his messed up vision from hitting his head. Right in front of his face, was Bakugou...and his fist was extended towards Izuku. He was punched in the jaw by him and was sent flying when he added an explosive twist to the attack. Izuku grew claws rather quickly and sunk them into the ceiling. He clung to it as blood spilled from his mouth, he spit it out though and put his other claw into the ceiling. Izuku pulled on the ceiling and swung his legs upwards, he then kicked off of the ceiling and brought it down alongside him.

Izuku fell to the ground on the ceiling and broke it into two parts as he stood up. "Oh you messed with me now, Uraraka! Get over here and use your quirk on these stones!" He yelled into the earpiece he didn't bother to attach to his ear. He pulled one of the pieces of the ceilings off of his claw and breathed fire towards Bakugou. It was redirected towards him with Tomoko's moonlit dragon abilities, so, he quickly jumped up and pulled his arm up to block the incoming fire breath. "O-Okay Midoriya-Kun. This one is floating," she ran to the other one when the fire faded. "This one is also floating!" Izuku pulled this one out of his claw and punched it, which shattered it into several dozen big chunks of rock and metal. "Thank you Uraraka, now make me float and try to hold all of these stones, please!" Izuku did the exact same with the other stone, one of which hit Bakugou directly in the face. Uraraka touched his back, which caused Izuku to float. "I call this, the STARLIT BATTLEFIELD!" Flames ignited on Izuku's calves and on his triceps, they flared to life and he was propelled across the hallway and towards Tomoko.

In front of him, Izuku saw pebbles accumulate onto a surface, so he turned his Calves a bit to the right and dodged one of Tomoko's barriers that she created. "Uraraka! Go to the bomb, do that or hide! 'Cause I'm going to take these two down." Izuku's right ear twitched as it became more dragon-like, it seemed he was hearing something. "Bakugou! Izuku seems to be focused on me, go take care of Uraraka while I handle him." Izuku opened his mouth a bit, embers seeped out of his mouth as he grunted. His flames became brighter as he moved head first through the air towards Tomoko...which was a bad move to do. He didn't even notice the pebbles and stones that were gathering up on an invisible wall. So he slammed into it, but his flames didn't dim, they only got brighter and stronger...and his gaze became inhuman.

"I'll," Izuku tore his claws from the wall despite how strong his flames were propelling him. He then shoved it and the nails that were now growing rapidly into the wall, and struck right through it. "TEAR THROUGH YOUR DEFENSES," He took his other hand and did the same thing. "NO MATTER WHAT TOMOKO!" He pulled them apart and ripped the wall open. He would've shot himself through it, but he suddenly fell to the ground, a sign that Bakugou caught up with Uraraka. He landed on his feet with a thud, and continued to pull the wall apart. He tried to run through it after creating a hole in it, but he hit another wall. "Izuku! Stop it, you aren't yourself! So stop or I'll have to hurt you more than I will right now!" Suddenly, Izuku began to feel a strong pressure building up against his back so he tried to stop it, but it constrained him in a small box and between two different walls.

"You think I'll stop?" Izuku opened his mouth to reveal that most of his teeth were now fangs. "No. I won't. I'll continue to come after you ," he opened his jaw as wide as he could and took a bite out of the wall. "Until I beat you." He said with his mouth full, he then began to suck in the rest of the wall. He swallowed it all, and began to feel weird. He opened his mouth as he tried to tear into the next wall, but his claws hit nothing. Instead he just walked through, seemingly untouched by any walls. "W-What!? Why, why aren't the barriers working?!" Izuku walked closer to her, "I don't know." He grabbed her arms and breathed fire onto her arms. They encircled them like a pair of cuffs, they should've hurt her, but something was preventing her from being burnt.
