The townspeople forced their way into Izuku's room and grabbed his various limbs before raising him in the air. A chant in an unknown language burst forth from their throats, drowning anything he had to say. He craned his neck to see Tohru trying to grab him, "I'm fine!" He yelled as loud as he could, only for it to sound like a faint whisper fading in a hurricane. "Don't worry about me, I don't think they're going to hurt me!" His head was past the doorframe when she gave up any efforts to rescue him from the mob. She obviously understood what he meant, and it was most likely due to her enhanced hearing.
When he passed through a second doorframe, Izuku could see the infinite beauty of the stars above him. An infinitely growing mass of a black canvas, painted with an infinite amount of white or colored specks that made their home in the infinite amounts of galaxies. It wasn't something that you'd see everyday, and it was growing even rarer due to light pollution on Earth. So it was nice to see something so drastically different, which he relished until he passed through another doorway. A few seconds passed by before he was abruptly placed on the ground.
Izuku's eyes strained in the darkness of the room as his ears twitched to the sound of shuffling throughout the room. Groggily, he raised his hand and lit a fire in it, the entire room became illuminated, but not by him. Before it could manifest in his palm, a circle of fire appeared around the room, lighting the entire room up. The group of thirty or so people was reduced to two, the old man from earlier and someone that looked like an older version of him. "You really haven't aged a day, Kimi." He spoke up, "in fact you look younger...much younger."
Izuku stifled a yawn, "well of course I look younger...because I'm not this 'Kimihito' you're talking about." He blinked a few times, seeing their growing disappointment in between. "I don't even of a Kimihito," it physically hurt to continue past that. He could feel a trickle of warmth dribble from his chest. Sickening. The want to double over was overwhelming his mind.
"Are you alright son, you're looking a little pale?" The middle-aged man spoke, getting a facial response out of Izuku. "Ah never mind, it could just be that you're not from around here and we're mistaken...or you don't come from this world at all?" Izuku raised his brow in response, "did that catch your attention? I'd have thought he'd have a young son maybe a daughter by now, but I didn't think they would be able to wield fire like him." Izuku knew that his father was 'special,' but not from another world kind of 'special.' "Guess the lazy Kimihito grew up, didn't he father?" The old man laughed and nodded with his son.
"Excuse me, young one," Izuku straightened his back out as much as he could, alleviating the pain pent up in his chest. "But if you could do me a favor and demonstrate your abilities some more, then I would deeply appreciate it. Just place your hand on the ground to begin." Izuku wanted to learn more from these two, so he did as he was asked. The cold, flat stone under his hand pulsed against his hand, as if it were alive.
His eyes were forcefully closed as the air went silent around him. His hearing only kicked back in when his heart beat in his chest. The dark surrounding him was cold, unflattering. But a line of red went through his arm, illuminating it for him to see. All the tiny details in his arm were revealed, even a faint scar that ran under his elbow. The red line detailed the stone under his fingertips, despite looking flawless on the top, the rest of it was severely cracked. The red line that originated from his heart spread throughout the stone, snaking through the infinite amount of cracks and passages in it. When it began to slow down, Izuku saw the image the line created, it was the face of a human. One that moved, sending a roar that cascaded through his body. He wanted to see more of it, but a power stole him away from the stone.
He was blown back by it, forcing his arm to come free from the imperfect stone. "I assume that you just saw a vision, one of a dragon if I'm right?" Izuku, a bit stunned to use words, could only nod, even if it was a lie, "those with dargon blood in them, are able to see dragons. He told us that it was a stone birthed from the imperfect mixture of blood from all of dragonkind. Kimihito brought it back to the village after being gone for four or so years. We were only able to see him for a week before he left again, which was about 20 years ago. I apologize for having mistaken you for him earlier, so what has my son been up to in his absence?"
