It was nearly two years later since Izuku had that fateful nightmare. So many things had happened that he quashed rather easily. He and his class were attacked on a visit to a summer camp that was meant to toughen up their quirks. The League of Villains was tough for everyone...minus Izuku and Tomoko. They fought side by side and managed to easily stop the League from taking Katsuki. All Might fought with his arch nemesis a week after that, All For One. He gave All Might a run for his money and even managed to make him reveal his true form to the world. But somehow, some way, All Might persevered and showed that his will is stronger than All For One's. Izuku fought Mirio Toogata and somehow beat him, maybe it was a fluke or he really was stronger, to that question Izuku just said no.

One of the toughest battles came when he fought overhaul and won at the cost of getting shot with an anti-quirk agent. It obviously had no effect on him, because he used magic and not a quirk. But it should've been erased due to the active ingredient in that agent, was the blood of a girl that could revert things to their prior forms with her quirk. He did feel it act on him just a bit, though he had no idea why it stopped after a couple of seconds. It amazed Overhaul that Izuku stood after getting shot, it amazed him even further when he kicked his ass. Other than that, nothing too important happened, it was pretty bland even when he was the next shining hope for the future of heroes. He was just seeking a fun battle...which he was about to have.

For every day during that gap he trained, trained and trained until he could prove himself stronger than any single dragon. A well built body and a strong mind could prove lethal to any man as well as some dragons, if he was smart enough. But he wasn't smart, he was ingenious. He was creating several moves that Tohru had never seen being used by a dragon. For example he created an attack where he takes to the sky with his dragon wings then casts down random objects of fire, mainly spears and javelins, at his foe. Another was a move where he creates a large globular flame in his hands. Which he then detonates releasing a large amount of light, which is enough to blind a mere human, while also shooting fire off in every direction.

It had been almost two years since Izuku transformed into that demon, and killed Tohru. He figured that the weird tattoos that covered their bodies were a binding curse. Due to their weird pattering and the color of them, he had to assume that her life was connected to his. So that if he ever died, then she would die, but this shouldn't be vice versa. If she died, then Izuku most likely wouldn't die due to the nature of any curse. It usually only made one party receive the large negative effects of it, and it was upon the one that the curse was aimed for. He also knew that whenever he was hurt in a battle, then Tohru wouldn't feel it. So it was just a binding curse that shared his life force with her? Though this was all just speculation on his part he had no way of proving it was true unless he decided to kill himself. Or kill Tohru; both options were obviously off the table. Just harming her in general would violate every single one of his morals.

But now, it was time for Izuku to awaken. So he did just that, his eyes were already adjusting to the room's natural lighting that shone through the window. Regardless of the outcomes of the battle, that would occur later, his life was going to change drastically. Quickly, he gave Tohru a kiss on the cheek, before swinging his legs off the bed and touching the ground; the tattoos on his chest were still plaguing him. Tohru still lay asleep on her side of the bed, beneath her pajama shirt, which was just one of Izuku's shirts, he could see the small, snake-like part of her tattooed curse. It was the most distinguishable part of it, but he had to be thankful for it suddenly enacting itself. Otherwise he'd be heartbroken as the love of his life would be dead. Izuku stood up, his joints snapped and cracked as he put pressure onto them, but it felt rather pleasurable. He shuffled over to the bathroom, two large scars where his wings grew were on his muscular back and another cut through his eyebrow and barely missed the cornea of his right eye. Thankfully he had closed his eye in time before Tohru hit him with her claw when it occurred, which didn't damage his eye, just the eyelid and eyebrow.
