Stormy's Point of View

Jamia opened the gothic cathedral doors for me to enter. I took a deep breath and smiled at her, thanking her silently. The church was a gorgeously structured cathedral. The lights were dim and I could hear the soft voice of Kurt Cobain as I entered the foyer.

"You look stunning, Stormy." Lindsey cried pulling my veil over my face.

"You all look stunning." A voice said behind us. It was Ray.

"Where is Storm cloud?" Frank asked oblivious to me, he must not have seen me due to everyone being gathered around me. The girls smiled at him and stepped aside, revealing me to Frank, Mikey, and Ray.

The all gasped and stared at me wide-eyed. I swallowed hard, looking down at my dress. Was it not on right, did I have something on my face? I felt the panic rise in my throat.

Frank took a step towards me. "Stormy... you... you... wow." Was all he could manage.

"You look... breath-taking." Mikey smiled, hugging me, and then walking towards his wife, who stood to my left.

"Stormy?" I turned suddenly at the higher-pitched voice that carried from the cathedral entrance.

"Piper!! You made it!" I screamed and ran towards her. I engulfed her in a hug and felt a smile spread across her lips.

"I wouldn't miss this for the world, momma. They set it all up, I'll be up at that alter with you." Frank and Ray smiled at me blushing. I held my arms out for them, the both hugged me.

"Thank you." I whispered.

"Stormy, baby, are you ready? It's time." Donald- Gerard's father- asked, merging through the crowd around me.

"Guys, pair up, the music is getting ready to start." He gestured towards the sanctuary.

Jamia and Alicia snuck into the sanctuary as everyone lined up. Mikey was with Lindsey, Ray was with Jessica, and Frank was with Piper, who had on the same red dress that Jessica wore. The song Alone together started playing and the doors opened. I got to glance inside as Mikey and Lindsey made their way down the aisle, with had a black runway down the center. The pews were lined with gorgeous black and red roses, and the aisle itself was littered with red rose petals. The cathedral itself was identical to that where they filmed Helena. The lights that illuminate the front of the sanctuary were red along with normal dimmed lights.

There was red and black lace lining the aisle and pews as well and there were black paper lanterns lit on either side of the aisle. It was gorgeous, and more than I could have ever dreamed of.

As Frank and Piper walked down the aisle the song changed to interlude, off of the Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. I gripped on to Donald's arms as everyone stood up, awaiting me. The doors were now cracked, so our guest couldn't see me. Through the crack, I saw a very anxious Gerard waiting for me with his hands together in front of him. A smile broke across my face.

"It's time, sweetheart." Donald kissed my head and put his hand over my hand. As I heard Gerard's voice grace the church with his lyrics, the doors opened and all eyes were on me, but my eyes locked on Gerard.

Gerard was looking to the ground when Mikey nudged him softly and swiftly with his elbow. Gerard looked up quickly and a smile that could defeat the Cheshire cats spread across his face.

I smiled and took my first step into the sanctuary, heading gasps of delight as I walked into view. Growing up you are always told that your dreams can come true if you believe enough in them, and as a child, you think it's true. As you get older though, life seems to tear you down and make your dreams decimate. The world inevitably leaves you with decimated dreams and no ambition. Up until now, I believed dream couldn't come true, no matter how much you wished or hoped, even prayed. Hard work was the only thing that could get you even remotely close to these dreams. But as I walked down that aisle on Donald's arm, eyes locked with Gerard's and soft tears flowing down his face. I knew in that instant that all my dreams were coming true. My best friend's stood at the altar, all in support of us, all of them rooting for us. Our family and friends that he met before me, and we had met together along the way graced the pews they sat in, all anxious to witness on of the most amazing and memorable days of our lives; the day we combined our lives and started them as one.
