Chapter 6: Here We Go Again

She was right there in my face doing coke. I was just as surprised to see Devyn of all people doing coke. "Dev, what the hell?". "Zenia get out of here. Leave me alone". "Why the fuck are your doing coke? Does my brother know?". "No! And he never will. So if you tell him, I will kill you".

Devyn doesn't seem like the type of person to be doing coke. And she really thinks I'm not teling my brother? I defintely am. "Devyn, I'm telling my brother because you need help!". "Zenia I swear to God I will kill you".

She starts to sniff more and holds her head back to take it all in. She looked at me and then started laughing. I went into the living room and started pacing. I was a little scared to be in the house with her at that point.

I wanted to tell my brother in person rather than on the phone so I waited til he got home. She came in after ten minutes and went to her room. My guess was to take a nap. When my brother finally came home, I pulled him into the living room to tell him what was up.

"How was your day?", I asked him. "It was good, is Devyn here?". "Great, you brought her up. Listen, we need to talk". "Look Zee, I know she comes off a little mean, but trust me once you really get to know her, you'll love her". "I'm starting to think you don't know her".

"What do you mean?". "Listen, there's no easy way to say this at all. Literally, at all! But, your girlfriend is doing coke". He looked at me for a minute trying to figure out if it was true or not.

"That's not true". "Ryan it is! While you were at work, Devyn came in on...me...dancing naked in the living room and we got into an argument. Then she went outside and went into her purse and took it out".

"Zee, that doesn't make any sense. At all! She doesn't do coke". "Yes she does". "How about we ask her". "Go head!". He calls her to come downstairs. It takes her minute to come down, who knows why. When she finally comes down, she looked as if she was sleeping.

"What's up?". "Zee here says that you're doing coke. Is it true?"."Of course not. Zenia why would you think that?". "Stop playing dumb, you were outside sniffing coke". "Zenia, she said she didn't do it, so just drop it".

She was sitting there making me look stupid. "Ryan, look in her purse! She had some coke in there earlier. Look!". He asked her for her purse and she gave it to him. At that point, I figured she dumped it or something because she wouldn't just give him her purse freely.

He looked inside and there was nothing there. He then looked at me and said that I should apologize. I wasn't going to because she was trying to make me look stupid. "Ryan, I swear you have to believe me". "Zee, there's no evidence at all. I'm sorry, you need to apologize".

"Fine, sorry Dev". After the apology, Ryan went upstairs to take a shower. As soon as he left, Devyn walked towards me slowly and slapped me. "I told you that if you ever tell him, I'll kill you. He don't need to know".

I stood there holding my face. I looked at her as she walked upstairs and stared at me. I didn't feel safe. I called Tre to come pick me up and he did. We went to the park and stayed in his car. I told him everything that happened and he comforted me.

His mom wasn't coming home tonight, nor was his dad, sister, and brother. They all were away visiting their relatives I believe. He took me to his place and let me sleep over. When the morning came, we were both in his bed starring at each other. Soon, we started making out.

I love this man's kisses. They are so sensual. He stopped me in the middle of kissing and asked if I wanted  to have sex. I said yeah and then he got on top of me, still kissing me. He started to take off his shirt and then his pants.

I was sort of nervous, but I wanted to get this over with. He continued to kiss my neck until his mom came in the room. We both jumped up quick. I had his blankets wrapped around my body while he had his clothes covering his...areas...

"Mom! Um...what are you doing here?". "I live here. Who is your friend?". "This is my girlfriend, Zenia". "Nice to meet you Zenia". She reached her hand out to shake mine. This was very awkward. "When you two are finished getting dressed, meet me downstairs".

She left out the room after that. We both looked at each other very embarrassed and then got dressed. Soon we walked downstairs to the kitchen. There was his dad, mom, and brother and sister. I met all of them. His sister was the youngest, she was thirteen. His brother was fifteen, and very handsom I might add. His dad was cool, his name is Tremaine. His mom's name was Lavern. They told me that Trevor's name was a mixture of both their names.

After a few hours of talking, meeting the family, and eating breakfast, I got a call from Ken. She told me to come meet her at Ty's house, so I had to go. I took the bus there and rushed as fast as I could. When I got there, Ken told me about the James situation, her dad, and everything.

Ty allowed her to stay as long as she could. He did have his own apartment and all. After hugging her and comforting her, she asked Ty to give us a minute. He went into the other room while we stayed on the couch. "What's wrong Ken?".

"Girl, I don't know what to do. Since graduation, some things have been going on". "Like what?". "A lot! Like, you're not ready for it". "What is "it"? You can tell me anything". "Boo, it's happening again". "What is?". "I'm pregnant"...
