"What are you doing here?....again?" i want to give my voice a strong tone but the words only stumble out.
"I.. Uhm.."
"Calum?" My insecurity went and i was getting more angry.
"I think i just wanted to make sure you're attending to band lesson.." he admits and he puts his eyes down on the tiles between us.
He almost looked adoreable.
"Okay.." i was a little bit overwhelmed.
As he didn't answer again i felt the urge to get him out of the dark.
"It's okay.. i think i will come..but ..Cal.."
"You will?" his mood was back to normal in one second.
"Yes but i won't sing"
He gave me a crooked smile and i thought to hear a silent thank you but it turned into giggles.
"You won't regret it Blondie" his dark eyes sparkled and i had the feeling he was flirting with me.
But then he got serious again,
"But stay away from Luke, he's not by his full consciens" his voice was low now and his words echoed inside my head.
"What does that mean?"
"I don't want you to make friends with him, he's a mental wreck... and that makes him dangerous. I want you to be safe" he stepps closer. His eyes are focused on my face.
I stare at him and his words let a cold shiver run down my spine.
But suddenly i wasn't afraid of what he said then of Calum himself because he took his steps closer without hesitating.
So i went an inch back and wrapped the towel a bit tighter.
"Calum.. are you okay?"
He didn't seem to hear me in the first place.
Now he was so close in front of me that i could see the slight shadows beneath his eyes.
"Cal?" my voice slurred and it only came out as a whisper.
"If Luke wasn't, you wouldn't have to be gone" he hisses between his clenched teeth.
His words didn't make any sense to me, i didn't know Luke at all so what was it about and what was it that made me feel as if Calum didn't actually see me in front of him but someone else.
His hand reached my cheek and with his thumb he stroke over the left side of my face.
I shivered and froze.
"Calum, please let go of me" i pleaded.
I closed my eyes and inside i started to count until 10, if he wouldn't back away then i would scream.
Suddenly i heard voices and giggles as a few girls walked in the shower room.
Calum instantly took a few steps back and he stared at me as if he only noticed it was me in front of him.
"Emily?" he breathed loudly.
He turned around and almost ran out of the bathrooms.
My heartbeat was so fast but i could feel the fear, that had built up inside, slowly disappearing.
Whatever it was that happened made me get the feeling that i had to watch out. I had to take more attention towards everything and everyone.
Hannah warned me of Calum. But Calum warned me of Luke.
