Diamond slowly opened her eyelids as she heard laughter coming from the hallway. She let out a loud sigh as she heard Shawn's deep voice.

"Yeah! It was lit as fuck....yeah I'm just now gettin' in...alright imma hit you up later." Shawn entered their bedroom and sat his phone on the dresser. She shook her head at him as her feet connected with the white carpet. The baby was on her bladder and she was starting to feel it.

She brushed past Shawn and entered the master bathroom, shutting the door behind her. She was pissed at him. Lately, he had been coming home later than usual and she was upset.

She was upset because she was at home pregnant and alone while he was out in the club with his friends. This wasn't how she thought her pregnancy would go. The two were distant and barely said a sentence to each other. Their once playful energy that they had with each other was no longer there.

As Diamond flushed the toilet and washed her hands, she noticed the bags that were starting to show underneath her eyes. She had stayed up late worried about him. This was the first time he'd came back the next morning.

"Hey baby." Shawn mumbled while walking past her and into the bathroom. She replied back with the same dry ass reply that he'd given her and laid back down in their King sized bed. She wanted to cry but it was no use. Crying won't change anything. She just wanted them to get back to the way things were.

Noelle sat up in bed as she played with Brielle. Her tiny eyes stared at the toy in confusion as the baby toy lit up to the nursery rhyme that was playing. She enjoyed spending time with her. But she knew that she had to go to work soon. Her phone vibrated next to her on the bed and she noticed that Mama Sheila was FaceTiming her. She slid her finger across the Answer button and waited for the video to connect.

"Hey Noelle." Mama Sheila smiled as her face appeared on the screen. "Where's my grand baby?"

"Right here trying to play with this toy." She giggled and switched the camera to Brielle. Mama Sheila smiled as Brielle laid on her back and tried to grab the toy.

"Awnnn, hi my little cutie pie." Mama Sheila cooed. "Has she been keeping you up at night yet?"

"No she's still sleeping through the night. She wakes up thirty minutes after I do. Every morning." She laughed. "Oh I forgot to tell you, she's trying to pick her head up now."

"Really? Let me see." Mama Sheila said as she propped her cellphone on the counter. She was making some mashed potatoes and wanted to see Brielle. Noelle sat the phone down and flipped Brielle over on her stomach. She laid her head on the covers before lifting her head for a quick second.

"Oh my God!" Mama Sheila practically screamed before covering her mouth. "She's gonna be so smart!"

"I know. I can't wait until she learns how to roll over on her own. The only thing she does now is kick her feet and chew on her fingers."

"She's learning Noelle. That's good. I was actually calling to see if I could get her this weekend? I know you probably want to go have some fun—"

"No I'm not really the clubbing type. But you could still get her. I don't mind."

"Good. And you need to go have fun. Go have a day at the spa or go to the movies. All you do is sit in that house by yourself."
