Excuse any errors!
Benji stood in the kitchen, watching as Ava played with Brielle. It's been a few days since she lost the love of her life and she was trying her hardest not to think about it.
Dominic's funeral was tomorrow and it pained her knowing that she wouldn't be able to attend. Once his parents found out about his death, they immediately shipped his body back to his hometown in the United States. His parents decided that a private funeral was for the best, due to the way he was killed. Once his father, Sam talked to Benny, he realized that his son moved to Liberty City and started hanging out with the wrong crowd.
Dominic told his parents that he was a studying abroad, but that was a lie. He never told his parents about Benji or Shawn. Hell, not even Ava. In fact, once she told his parents she was having his child they hit her with more terrible news.
"Sweetie, Dominic has a two-year old daughter and a fiancée back in South Carolina."
Ava couldn't take anymore pain. Even though she felt like releasing her anger out in her apartment, she had to stay strong for the sake of her unborn child. She'd been staying with Noelle and Benji since they left the hospital. She couldn't go back to her apartment. Not right now at least.
"How you feelin'?" Benji asked as he sat across from her.
Ava snapped out of her deep thoughts. "I told you, I'm fine. Gosh, stop asking me the same thing every ten minutes."
"I just wanna make sure. Are you hungry?"
"No, not really. But I'll eat something just for you and Noelle. I know y'all are worried about me but I'm fine." She chuckled lightly.
Noelle entered the house, placing a few grocery bags on the floor before grabbing more grocery bags from her trunk. She'd finally managed to go grocery shopping. The stores were already filled with irate customers, just like she'd imagined. She hated being in the grocery stores or shopping malls during the holidays. She couldn't wait until the New Year.
"Do you want me to take you to your doctor's appointment?" He asked as Ava stood up from the couch.
"No. I'll drive myself. Go help her with those bags." She ordered before walking upstairs. She didn't want anyone trying to console her. She just wanted everyone to grieve on their own.
"I know she's still pissed about not being able to go to the funeral." Benji told Noelle as he walked outside. The cool breeze hit his skin, making him rub his hands up and down his arms for warmth.
"Yeah. I think everyone is. I understand that Dominic's parents are upset because he lied to them but a private funeral wasn't necessary. We were his family too." Noelle replied, slamming her trunk shut before grabbing the rest of the grocery bags.
"Yeah? Tell that to his fiancée and two-year old daughter." He slightly rolled his eyes and shook his head. Just like everyone else, he was shocked to hear that Dominic had his own family back in South Carolina. Especially since he rarely went to visit them. He fooled everyone. But nevertheless, that was still his brother.
"I feel so bad for Ava. I remember how bad I felt once I thought you were dead. I felt like a piece of me was missing. Just think about it, how would you feel knowing that the love of your life, someone you spent everyday with, was never coming back? She's gonna put a smile on her face because she doesn't want you or your parents to worry. But deep down, I know she wants to break down and cry." She told him once they entered the house. He understood what she was telling him. He wanted to make Ava smile again, but knew that it was going to take some time.

Diamond sighed as Santana's cries grew louder. She groaned while throwing her head back in agony. She wanted to cry her damn self. It's been two days since she'd gotten any sleep.
"Shhh! Santana please!" She whined, placing him on her chest. That only made it worse. She didn't know why he started crying out of nowhere. She fed him and changed his diaper.
Shawn entered the room, reaching his arms out to grab Santana. "What's wrong man?"
Diamond rested her hand against her hand. "I don't know. I fed him and changed him."
He rubbed Santana's stomach, making Santana cry even harder. "He's gassy. When that happens, just lay him on his back and put his legs in an up-and-down pedaling motion."
Shawn demonstrated before Santana eventually released his gas into the air, making Diamond laugh. "How did you—"
"I started readin' a bunch of shit online. I told you I was gon' take this parentin' shit serious."
"Now I feel bad. I should've known that."
"Don't feel bad. You doin' good. I'm proud of you." He said, planting a kiss on her lips. He wanted to make sure she was okay at all times. He didn't want her to go through post-partum depression. He gave her compliments everyday, cooked dinner every night, helped her out with Santana and now he was planning a candlelight dinner in two days. He wanted to keep a smile on her face.
"I love you." She smiled while rubbing her thumb against his left cheek.
"I love you too."
