"Baby! Come here for a minute!" Shawn yelled from the bottom of the staircase. Diamond rolled her eyes once she heard him yelling. She grabbed her black bomber jacket from the closet and checked her outfit in the mirror one last time before heading downstairs. She was wearing a black turtleneck dress with black UGG boots. She wanted to wear jeans but Shawn insisted that she didn't. She reached the last step and wanted to smack him for yelling.

"Why are you yelling—" she stopped her sentence once she saw the roses and balloons in her living room. "Is this for me?"

"Naw, it's for the girl next door. Of course it's for you." He laughed as she playfully hit him. There were flowers around the room sitting in glass vases, around twenty-five balloons that had 'I Love You' written on the front, and gift bags sitting in the middle of the floor. Diamond couldn't do nothing but cry. She hated that her hormones were all over the place.

"Why you crying? You don't like it?" Shawn panicked. He was trying his best to make up for the way he was acting towards her before.

"I love it. Thank you." She said before planting a kiss on his lips.

"I know we been real distant lately and I hate that shit. I hate that I gotta come home hella late but that's what I signed up for. You know I ain't doing nothing but workin'. I just did all these to show you I still love you, baby." He told her making her cry again.

"I love you too, Poohda." She laughed at his nickname and kissed him again.

"Open your gifts." He nodded his head towards the bags that sat on the carpet. She wiped her face and went to go sit on the carpet. She opened the baby blue bag with the word Pandora written on the front first. She pulled out a small box and opened it. She gasped in awe at the charm bracelet that she wanted so badly ever since she saw it in the store. He added different charms on there, including the letter S, for their son.

"I love this! Thank you!" She told him and opened the orange Louis Vuitton box. She saw the brown Louis Vuitton boots and almost cried. She almost bought herself these but Shawn thought that it would be better if she bought the matching purse instead.

"You wanted me to get the purse because—"

"I already got you the boots." He laughed. She opened the next Louis Vuitton box and saw the baby blue book bag she wanted to use as her diaper bag. She couldn't believe her remembered all of the things she wanted. She finally reached the last box and noticed the IceBox Jewelry logo written on the front. She opened the rectangular box and almost fainted. It was a silver diamond tennis chain with Santana covered in diamonds and written in cursive.

"My mama said that would be a great push gift. Whatever that means." He shrugged.

"It means when I have the baby." She laughed. "Help me up."

He shook his head and helped her stand to her feet.

"I love all of this. Especially my necklace and bracelet." She smiled.

"Don't worry. We gon' be dripped out with you. Even our son."

"You extra." She laughed.

"I know. You ready to go eat?"

"Of course. I starved myself all day." She put her jacket on and headed out of the front door.

"Don't play wit' me Diamond. Did you eat—"

"Yes. I had a salad." She laughed. Shawn locked the front door and continued to talk about the baby.

"Someone's going to their grandma's house tomorrow." Noelle sang as she held Brielle in her arms. She laid her in her bed and packed her bag since she didn't want to wait until tomorrow.

She pulled out her cellphone and called Ava. Their relationship had gotten stronger over the months and she was thankful for that.

"Wassup girl?" Ava answered on the second ring.

"Nothing. Packing Brielle's diaper bag. Wassup wit' you?"

"Nothing. I just got back from the mall. I needed to find an outfit for tomorrow. I still can't believe you wanna go to the club!" Ava laughed.

"Not a club. Just to this place Shawn been talking about. It's called Hanover's?"

"Oh yeah I've heard of it. I heard they have great hookah too."

"Cool. I didn't wanna go to a club since I can't drink." She said as she continued to fold clothes.

"Why don't you just pump first?"

"I tried it but I didn't pump enough."

"What about test strips? The doctor said you can drink but just wait a few hours to pump."

"I'll go get some test strips just in case." She said before Brielle started to cry. "I have to go but I'll call you later."

"Alright. Kiss my niece for me." Ava laughed before hanging up. Noelle sat her cellphone down and grabbed Brielle from her crib. She knew that she was going to start crying because she wasn't swaddled. Even at two months, Brielle still wanted to be swaddled in order for her to sleep through the night. Noelle was slowly trying to get her out of that stage but it wasn't working.

She laid the baby pink blanket out before sitting Brielle on top of it. She quickly swaddled her before she cried even harder. Once she was wrapped tight, Noelle placed the pacifier into her mouth and she fell asleep shortly after.

"I know who been hitting up our spots." Worm spoke as he stormed into Cory's office. Cory ran his hand over his face while shaking his head. Nobody listened to him.

"How many times I gotta tell y'all to stop busting through my shit like y'all the police?" Cory asked him. "Who the fuck is it?"

"Sincere." Worm grinned. "One of the crackheads on Tucker said they saw him pull up and shoot Bobby, Maino, and Fella while they was shooting dice."

"Sincere old ass got the nerve to hit up my shit? Cool, imma hit 'em where it hurts." He grinned while rubbing his ashy hands together. He wanted to teach Sincere a lesson and show him not to fuck with his money, his drugs, or his workers.
