A few days had passed and everyone had gotten used to Benji being home. Shortly after the family gathering at his house, word about him being home had spread around town. He didn't care. Now that Cory was gone, he had no reason to look over his shoulder.

Benji entered his bedroom and saw Noelle laying in bed next to Brielle who was wrapped tightly in her blanket.

"Hey." She forced a weak smile on her face. He knew something was up.

"Wassup? I thought you was goin' to work today?" He asked while sitting next to Brielle.

"I don't know. Maybe later." She shrugged while sitting up.

"You good?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm gonna go take a shower." She told him before walking out of their bedroom. Benji sat there confused on why he heard the shower running in the guest bathroom but his thoughts were immediately interrupted by Brielle's crying.

"So you know when yo' mama leave." He laughed while picking her up. "Wow."

Diamond laid on the couch as tears streamed down her face.

"Just tell me what you want baby." Shawn sighed as he parked on the side of the street. He looked down at his phone and saw her wiping her tears away.

"I want bread from Texas Roadhouse and steak nachos from Pepe's." She pouted. Shawn shook his head as he proceeded to drive down the busy street. Diamond had him running around town just for food. Not just any food. But the food she was currently craving.

"I thought you hated Pepe—"

"Shut up Shawn! I know what I said before but I want steak nachos." She whined while stomping her feet on the white carpet like a child.

"Texas Roadhouse and Pepe's on two different sides of town—" he stopped his sentence once he heard her crying again.

"Okay I'll just get it myself since you don't love me." She sniffed before throwing the phone across the room.

"Oh my God!" Shawn yelled as he shook his head. He couldn't wait for her to have the baby. She was being too dramatic. "I'll go get your food Diamond."

Diamond smiled while crawling towards her phone that sat near the window.

"Thank you baby I—" Pow! Pow! Pow! Pow! Pow! Pow!

Gunshots entered the window barely missing Diamond's head as she took cover behind the couch. Shawn's heart rate increased as he heard the gunshots. He quickly made a U-Turn and headed back towards the house.

"Baby? Diamond you good?" He asked as he looked down at the screen. No answer. The phone was still laying in the same spot where it was before and the ceiling was his only view. "Diamond!"

A few minutes had passed before Diamond grabbed the phone. "I'm fine. I didn't get hit."

"I'm on my way back to the house. Go upstairs and pack a bag alright?"
